I bought the UK release on a friend's recommendation, and I have to say Mika is my favorite new artist of the past several years. Every time I listen to this CD, it just makes me *HAPPY*. People keep comparing Mika's voice to Freddie Mercury, but the music makes me think of a fresh new take on my favorite Erasure/Andy Bell songs from 15 years ago. This is happy pop at its best - catchy and fun, but with a quality and depth that bears listening to over and over.Free Music Review: Great new Artist

Mika is an awesome artist with a really different sound, similar to 'Queen'.
I like every song on this cd, which is unusual for me. I'm kind of picky with music, and usually see much of the modern stuff as 'miscellaneous noise'.
This cd is very energetic without being irritating, it's great for house cleaning, etc. You can preview all the tracks before buying though, so that'd probably your best method of deciding whether or not to buy it!

This album is simply amazing. Mika's vocals are literally breathtaking, and he has a superb falsetto. A lot of people have compared him to Freddy Mercury, which is true, but he has a style that is all his own. And all of the songs are so catchy! Lollipop is by far one of the best, Take it Easy a good follower. There are a few slower, tamer songs, but he truly shines on the upbeat power-house vocals. Mika's first cd is definitely addressed to people who like happy, cheerful and catchy music. Starting with "Grace Kelly" the tunes get into your head and keep bouncing inside :)
My favourite cuts are: "Grace Kelly", "Love today", "Relax" (THE BEST ONE), and hidden track "Over my shoulder" (the saddest, but also the most fragile one here).
In fact, there are no weak parts of this cd.

I must admit that I fell in love with the song "Grace Kelly" when I heard it on the radio in New York. I went out and bought the album when it came out and I love every single song on the album. The best part is that basically every song is different!! Different tempo, different beat, different feel, etc. But every single one of them is excellent!
I am telling everyone about this album. It is a must buy!
