Free Music Review: This CD is PHENOMENAL!

This CD is one of my very favorites, and has had plenty of play ever since a friend sent it to me. I first saw Mike in concert in 2001, and he was absolutely incredible. My friend had raved about him, it finally my turn to hear him. When the lights dimmed and Mike started singing, it felt like he was singing to me alone. His voice is just that fantastic. Very powerful. I even got the extreme pleasure of meeing Mike after the concert, and he is so gracious to his fans. I felt like I had known him for years. He truly needs to teach other celebrities how it is done.
The best songs on this CD, for me, are Ave Maria and Esmeralda from Dennis DeYoung's musical of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. When he and Dennis harmonize on Ave Maria, it is the most incredible sound. I can't imagine the angels being any sweeter than that. Esmeralda, when you take it in the context of the Hunchback story is touching and so romantic.
I wasn't as fond of Sermon To The Blackbirds, but that was just the song. Mike can sing anything and I would be happy!
Where Would I Be? Is also another favorite. I love to play this when I am in a foul mood, Mike's incredible voice always lifts me up out of the dumps. He is amazing.

Free Music Review: beautiful voice

I first heard Mike in concert with Jim Brickman. I agree with the previous reviewer that his voice is beautiful, but I didn't care for all the songs on ME.
However, he is supposed to have a new CD out in September with his single "Hear Me," which is phenomenal! Does anyone have any idea on a suggested release date? Couldn't get anymore info from his website other than September.

Free Music Review: An incredible album

This is one of the best albums I own, and that's saying something. Mike's voice is truly one of the most beautiful I've heard. The songs chosen for this album are not necessarily the ones I would have picked, partly because I had never heard several of them, but they all work extremely well. His voice can be soft and tender, or rich and powerful, but is always full of emotion. I believe he could sing anything he chooses, no matter what the genre.
If you enjoy Michael Crawford, Hugh Panaro, or Michael Ball I am certain you will love Mike Eldred. Get this album if you can find it. Hopefully Amazon will make it available.
