Free Music Review: Warning: This music WILL get stuck in your head
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is packed with straight-ahead, danceable, catchy pop anthems and a few heartfelt slow songs. If you're a teenage girl, you'll probably find something to relate to here. If you're an adult, this is just straight-up feel-good musical escapism. This is pop music at its finest. Don't approach this album expecting to find any deep revelations about life and love. This is one to put on when you're doing housework or yard work, or whenever you're looking for some smooth, sweet, irresistible pop goodness.

Adults not interested in hearing about decidedly teen themes should probably avoid track 1.

7 Things is the best song on the album. Irresistible.

The production value is top notch. Wilder and Cutler crank out hit after hit with their careful production, and Chris Lord-Alge's mixing talents aren't disputed. Like all good pop, this stuff is heavily produced with a great deal of polish, though with more edginess and rock-informed riffs than many examples of the genre. The pop-punk influence can hardly be ignored. This album has less of a country flavor than Miley's "Hannah Montana" tracks, though her accent still pokes through on occasion.

All in all, you can't go wrong with "Breakout" for a feel-good excursion into the world of teen pop.

Free Music Review: Something better than a 'popstar'
Hit: 5 Stars

Ok. So Miley Cyrus is much like Avril Lavigne...A guilty pleasure. Someone you pop into your iPod and hope no one around you sees the picture on the screen or hears the tunes out of the earbuds.

I bought the new CD because I found "7 Things" to be quite catchy. The first song made me regret the purchase, being that I'm not in third grade waiting for the bell to ring. However, by the time, "Girls just wanna have fun" rolled around I was totally into it. In fact, I think the Cyndi Lauper cover is pretty damn good. The songs that follow, are all filled with pretty good beats that place Miley in the category of someone you definitely want to keep your eye on, especially as she gets older and (hopefully) begins to explore far more complex issues and beats in her writing/music. If I could compare her to anyone in the music industry, I would say a really young version of the Dixie Chicks.

Overall, I think this album is damn good one. Her vocals are really strong and the beats are a mixture of guitar riffs and country, something pretty rare for a 'popstar.' Like all albums, there are some tracks I could skip, but for the most part, this was worth my $10.

Shes not your average 15 second Britney thats for sure.

Free Music Review: 42 year old rocker loves it!
Hit: 5 Stars

Had it not been for my 5 year old daughter, I would have never heard anything by Miley Cyrus. After being "forced" to watch the Hanna Montana movie I had an entirely new take on her music.

This girl has more talent than 99% of the garbage mainstream music is putting out these days! And she can act! I grew up on hair metal and country; my .mp3 library has over 72,000 songs and never thought I'd have Miley Cyrus in there, but after listening to the Hanna Montana soundtrack I didn't hesitate to buy her latest album for my daughter (and of course, I copied it to my iPod as well). She has an incredible voice and the song selection is top notch. The lyrics aren't dirty or inappropriate, yet they're not "childish"; whether you're 5 or 50 you'll enjoy her music.

I really hope she stays "true" and grounded and doesn't fall into the Hillary and Britney category and get caught up in any scandals. This girl is on her way to becoming one of the BIGGEST music stars...just watch.

Free Music Review: Great "Debut"
Hit: 5 Stars

I have a 2 year old daughter and 5 year old son, both of which like Hannah Montana. I bought this CD for them but I think I'm going to steal it lol!
This is really great music, even to a 26 year old!
It's got an edgy alternative pop/rock sound too it, far from her alter ego Hannah's sound.
She reminds me of Anna Nalick's sound when I hear this CD.
The best are 7 Things and Fly on the Wall which is a really catchy tune.
Way to go Miley for breaking out on your own and showing us real personality on this album. With or without Hannah's help, Miley will go far on her own if she continues to produce Cds like this in my opinion.
She can sing up beat and soft ballads. Very diverse vocal talent. Definitely not embarrassed to listen to this one or ashamed to let my kids listen to it unlike many artists kids listen to today. Miley is a great role model for young girls today. Keep it up girl!

Free Music Review: Miley Cyrus Breaksout Of Hannah Montana!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I've always loved Hannah Montana the TV Show and like Miley being Hannah.I'm so happy for her that she made her Debut Album as herself and not as Hannah Montana and that way she's showing the world who she really is and not as Hannah Montana. On YouTube I just listened to all of her songs from her Breakout Album that they played the whole songs.I like 7 Things is the Single that she made a video out of and there are other songs I like from her album that I think that are catchy is Breakout,Full Circle,Fly On The Wall,Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,These Four Walls and Wake America.I like those slow songs of her's is Bottom Of The Ocean,Goodbye and See You Again.I like The Driveway's a good song they said that they have a version of this song of Miley's little sister Noah singing ths song. This album of Miley's difnetly doesn't sound like Hannah Montana.I would to pruchase this CD it's like worth the money!!!!
