I was a little skeptical about buying this CD but I had liked Miranda's radio hits so I bought it. I was delighted to find that all of her songs were worth listening to repeatedly. I especially like Dry Town, Deperation, Down, and Famous in a Small Town (which was her first song I had ever heard and continues to be a favorite of mine). Miranda is special. A real country girl, a hot female country singer with the down-home vocals that the music is all about. Miranda's hero's are the likes of Merle Haggard and she writes and performs songs that would make a real country enthusiast proud. Miranda Lambert is one of the few female country artists I really enjoy. I typically find myself enjoying the male voices of country music but she is truely great. I love this CD and I think anyone who loves country music will enjoy it too. She's a down-home country girl with a story to tell and a great voice to tell it with!Free Music Review: AMAZING

Miranda is so completely talented. I've seen her in concert twice and she was simply amazing! I love the edge she has, and its nice to see someone who TRULY knows what country is. Famous In a Small Town, Dry Town, More Like Her, Easy From Now On, Gunpowder and Lead, becoming a great songwrighter and a great interpreter of others. Vocals and songwrighting gets better with every CD. Leaving Gretchen W. and Taylor S. in the dust with this one. And she is an entertainer too.
