I thought the soundtrack was the highlight of this movie-good though it was. My particular favorites were - "Brother can you spare a dime '- from the early Depression years [I have the original Bing Crosby version } and the poignant duet -"If You'll Have Me " Paul Englishby's arrangements wre outstanding as is the sound quality of the disc

This was a very interesting and fun movie, with a wonderful soundtrack. the big band sound is definately prominent and there were some great orchestrations. I did miss a couple of selections that were in the movie by Cole Porter. Don't know why they werent on the CD. But, all in all it's some very good music.Free Music Review: Pettigrew Pursuades

This soundtrack is wonderful, just like the movie. Amy Adams and Lee Pace are particularly lovely in the duet "If I Didn't Care" which breaks my heart and makes me smile every time I hear it!
