This was a very interesting and fun movie, with a wonderful soundtrack. the big band sound is definately prominent and there were some great orchestrations. I did miss a couple of selections that were in the movie by Cole Porter. Don't know why they werent on the CD. But, all in all it's some very good music.Free Music Review: MISS PETTIGREW

I just saw the movie and was blown away by the soundtrack. Hot mid-thirties swing that never lets up, except for a beautiful ballad, "If I Didn't Care" . The original music matches the madcap mood of the plot and a dash of classics "Brother Can You Spare a Dime" keeps us in the period. Great music to get the joint jumpin'!
