Free Music Notes for Miss Pettigrew Lives for a DayFree Music Review: Big Bands Rule! Hit: 4 StarsThis was a very interesting and fun movie, with a wonderful soundtrack. the big band sound is definately prominent and there were some great orchestrations. I did miss a couple of selections that were in the movie by Cole Porter. Don't know why they werent on the CD. But, all in all it's some very good music.
Free Music Review: MISS PETTIGREW Hit: 5 StarsWe went to see this movie on a rainy, Saturday afternoon and after seeing, and loving, the movie, I had to have the soundtrack. How can you miss with Cole Porter music playing in the background of one of the best movies ever made? Don't miss either!
Free Music Review: Sweet Swing! Hit: 4 StarsThis soundtrack is wonderful, just like the movie. Amy Adams and Lee Pace are particularly lovely in the duet "If I Didn't Care" which breaks my heart and makes me smile every time I hear it!
Free Music Review: Wicked Swing! Hit: 5 StarsI just saw the movie and was blown away by the soundtrack. Hot mid-thirties swing that never lets up, except for a beautiful ballad, "If I Didn't Care" . The original music matches the madcap mood of the plot and a dash of classics "Brother Can You Spare a Dime" keeps us in the period. Great music to get the joint jumpin'!
