Free Music Review: MITCH!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

You'll either love it or you'll hate it...or you'll think it's okay. Any way you slice it, Mitch Hedberg is one extremely funny man. His jokes tend to be really bad, but his delivery makes you laugh your a$$ off. I'm not really saying that his jokes are bad...what I mean is, they tend to sound like something a 7-year-old would say, but somehow Mitch makes you go "oh, yeah, I didn't realize that." Or at least, you'd be saying that if you weren't laughing so hard. I don't think that made any sense at all. But I do know this: Mitch likes Monster Magnet. Mitch likes sandwiches. And Mitch likes hotels. That's all good with me.

Oh, there's a CD and a DVD in here. They're different sets, so there's like twice as much laugh as you may think when you go to buy it.

Free Music Review: Mitch really has it 'all together'
Hit: 5 Stars

A 'Mitch Virgin' before seeing his Comedy Central Presents appearance, I immediately fell in love with his quick wit and humor. There's something about this man that makes you unable to stop laughing. Since then I have made it my mission to get Mitch Hedberg HEARD. Mitch is the comedian for real people. If you're skeptical, check out www.mitchhedberg.net to get a feel for the man behind the laughs, and THEN buy the CD. Mitch's comedy crosses generations - being an 18 year old college student this stuff is right up my ally, but my father (62) also thinks that Mitch is the funniest man alive. I would like to take this time to commend Mitch on his CD and to encourage YOU, the potential buyer and comedy enjoyer, to add this gem to your collection. You will not regret it.

Free Music Review: He gots the funny!
Hit: 5 Stars

Those of you out there who aren't afraid of a little "explicit content" are sure to love Mitch Hedberg. His comedic style and delivery are one of a kind, and you really get the idea that he's having a good time up on stage. He reminds me of George Carlin, the way he analyzes common speech and twists it around into something so simple, but so funny. I first heard him a couple of years ago, and he cracked me up! The accompanying DVD is basically a collection of his stand-up material he's done for Comedy Central specials; it's great that it's included because his visual style is also very original and funny. His first CD is also available in wide release for the first time: "Strategic Grill Locations" and I highly recommend picking that one up as well.

Free Music Review: "I always wanted to be dashed." - Mitch Hedberg
Hit: 5 Stars

I first saw Mitch perform in the fall of 1999. My roommate and I were fans of his and emailed him, asking if he would come and preform in Madison, WI. A couple of months later he headlined a sold-out show that brought the house down. Performing with him was his backup bass player Chuck, who can be heard on "Strategic Grill Locations". "Mitch All Together" is a different experience than the first album in that Mitch's delivery is more intense and rapid-fire. The set rivals the first release by being more put together and has more momentum (if that is possible in a set filled with non-sequiturs). Mitch will be remembered in the hearts of all those who listened to him or saw him perform.

Mitch, we'll see you again when that guy's eating a hamburger.

Free Music Review: Hedberg's act comes together
Hit: 5 Stars

Hedberg started out a semi-intentional comedy genius. He had many performances where he had good material, but was so nervous/intoxicated on stage that he mangled his own delivery. You'd laugh not at his jokes but because of his lack of professionalism. But beneath the bumbling stoner veneer, Hedberg was always an excellent joke-writer. On this CD he is "all together"- he has the confidence to tell his jokes rapid-fire and get into the moment. His combination of childlike fascination with minutia and a drug-fueled adult lifestyle makes it the kind of thing I can listen to with my mom and my little sister at the same time. And since it's a somewhat short album, the DVD is a great edition.

Skip Strategic Grill Locations; this is all the Mitch you need.
