Free Music Review: More than "One Song Glory"
Hit: 5 Stars

Adam Pascal is (in my opinion) one of the most amazing musical actors. Most people that love him fell in love when he was Roger Davis in RENT opposite Anthony Rapp (Mark Cohen). My story however, is quite different. I saw the current cast of RENT,so at that time i had no clue who he was. But then when I bought the RENT soundtrack, i was blown away by the raw voice of Adam Pascal. This CD clearly demonstrates what real music is all about and i recommend it to ANYONE with 2 ears. The title of this review "More then One Song Glory" is fitting because as all of you RENT fans remember, "one song glory" is one of Roger Davis's solo songs. in this song he dreams about finding one last meaningful song "to redeem his empty life" and make a mark in this world. Adam Pascal. you have done much more then this. Adam has certainly made his mark with a full CD of 12 beautifully-human songs that everyone can relate to. Ciao!

Free Music Review: Pascal is simply wonderful!
Hit: 5 Stars

I fell in love with Adam's voice after buying the Rent CD, which is now almost warped from so much use. I couldn't wait to hear more from this wonderful singer. Actually the whole cast, but Adam in particular. I saw him in New York in Rent and was blown away. Learning that he had his own CD coming out and also that he was staring in Aida made me just want to go out and buy all things that had him singing on it. I can see how he progresses from Rent to Aida to Model Prisoner. He has always had an edge to his voice, but Model Prisoner explores all different levels of his music, mostly hard rock, but some bluesy and some almost country like. I usually don't listen to hard rock, but since I know Adam has all sorts of levels in his music, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed, and I wasn't.

Free Music Review: His voice gives me shivers....
Hit: 5 Stars

OK, I must admit I discovered Adam through the Rent soundtrack. I was so amazed by his voice that I did my research and found out about this CD. I didn't hesitate to buy it and I fell in love with it immediately! Adam's voice is so awesome and it comes through on every song on this album. Sometimes sweet, sometimes rough, just like all the songs. My favorite songs are "Just Here to the Left of You" "Everytime Around" "The Time It Takes to Fall" (which sounds very Beatles to me for some reason) and "Undiscovered". Anyway who loves Adam should buy this album. Anyway who THINKS they love Adam, this CD will prove it. It is wonderful and beautiful and great for any mood (warning: you'll probably end up in a great one after listening to it!).

Free Music Review: Solid debut album
Hit: 5 Stars

If you haven't heard of Adam Pascal yet, you inevitably will. A rising star on Broadway, Adam Pascal's amazing voice helped catapult to success the musicals RENT and later AIDA. Model Prisoner is his debut solo album and it is yet another accomplishment in this his young career. It is a solid album without a single bad track. A variety of music styles (mostly rock with some blues influence) are integrated into a single album, which is extremely playable and compliments Pascal's distinctive voice. It's even more of a remarkable achievement that Pascal wrote most of the songs on this album. The discerning listener will discover his AIDA co-star, Sherie Rene Scott, singing backup vocals for the song "Undiscovered". Solid and powerful, this is a wonderful album.

Free Music Review: Adam Pascal: Model Prisioner
Hit: 5 Stars

As a avid fan of RENT, I had bought the RENT OBC about 5 years ago and basically havent stopped listening to it since. RENT was the best and most orginal show B'Way had seen in decades. And upon listening to this CD I heard this golden voice of raw power and soul. It was Adam Pascal. And as he has been equally brilliant in everything he's done since(Aida, Cabaret).
So when he came out with this CD about 2 years ago, I bought it. I must say, I loved it instantly. Adam has a very distinctive voice. Filled with power, emotion and soul. His voice is ear-shattering....But in a really good way. And on this wonderful music journey he hits shades of 80's hair band rock, Heavy Metal, Pop, Country and infuses it with fresh modern rock for just a very strong CD.
