Originally banned in Mexico and slapped with a lawsuit in Spain, Molotov, a foul-mouthed rap en espa?ol group based in Mexico City, is as fired up as Rage Against the Machine on its debut. The album's title, which translates as "Where Will the Little Girls Play?" parodies ?D?nde Jugaran los Ni?os? (Where Will the Children Play?), a 1992 album by Mana, one of rock en espa?ol's biggest acts. But that's just the beginning. Rapping in both Spanish and English, the band puts together an explosive blend of turntable scratches, thick bass lines, and flamenco guitar riffs. Initially misinterpreted as a slur against homosexuals, "Puto (Coward)" actually makes fun of anyone not willing to stand up for himself. With its chanted lyrics and anti-authority theme, "Gimme Tha Power" is an anthem for disenfranchised people everywhere.
