I HAVE TO SAY THAT MONICA REALLY LISTENS TO HER FANS AND SHE GAVE US WHAT WE REALLY WANTED THIS TIME AROUND. MONICA IS KNOWN FOR SINGING AND THAT'S WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT HER FROM THE YOUNG AGE OF 13 SHE HAS BEEN GIVING IT TO US. "STILL STANDING" IS A ALBUM I WILL BE LISTENING TO OVER AND OVER AGAIN. IT REMINDS ME OF THE OLD MONICA FROM "MISS THANG". SHE IS GIVING US REAL R&B NOT POP/R&B. SHE HAS VERY GOOD VOCAL RANGE ON EVERY SONG AND SHE IS TOUCHING ON TOPICS THAT SO MANY CAN RELATE TO. I BELIEVE THE RECORD LABEL SHOULD HAVE PUT "LESSON LEARNED" ON THE CD TO ME THAT SONG IS AMAZING IT GRABS YOUR SOUL AND YOU CAN FEEL WHAT SHE IS SAYING. "STAY OR GO" HAS A REALLY NICE FEEL TO IT. "LOVE ALL OVER ME" REMINDS ME SO MUCH OF "WHY I LOVE YOU SO MUCH" IT WILL BE A CLASSIC TO ENJOY OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THE ENTIRE ALBUM IS VERY GOOD AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY IF YOU WANT TO HEAR SOME REAL R&B. MONICA PROVES TO ME WHY SHE IS STILL STANDING AND THAT'S BECAUSE SHE'S JUST SIMPLY THE BEST!!!Free Music Review: Nobody's perfect, but....

Monica has delivered perfection with this album. I am truly speechless. As a loyal fan over the years, I have watched and witnessed the progression of Miss Thang and Monica always delivers greatness. Still Standing will be grabbing Grammy's, get your gown ready Monica. The album left me speechless. If I could give it ten stars, I would but they only allow five. I wish you all the best Monica, you deserve every bit of success you get. Let me just say this, this album was well worth the wait. Monica represents and is a major part of real R & B music that was beginning to fade away, but seems to be coming back for 2010 with releases from Monica, Usher, Toni Braxton, Fantasia, and more. I love all of the songs on the album, they are all favorites! Support REAL Music, Support Monica and buy this album, you will be more than glad that you did. I promise! THIS IS PERFECTION! Monica released her 5th studio album after an 4 year break from the music industry to concentrate on her family. Monica is back Still Standing was released today and she had never sound so beautiful. Monica took it back to her roots where she started and gave us some real music. Here i Am, Love all over me, and Superman are my favorites on the album. Monica really gives us her all on this CD. And she is letting all of us know that she is back despite everything that has been thrown her way. With Monica's strong fan base this album is sure to hit number 1 on the charts. She sounds amazing through the whole CD Monica's voice is so powerful and strong and full of soul you cant help but to listen to it over and over again. I've been waiting on the release of this album it seems forever! The it was absolutely worth the wait! I am waiting on her to drop another one! I went to purchase her cd at several of the local stores in my area & everyone was sold out! Amazon.com did not disappoint within a couple of days I had my cd and the stores still hadn't restocked the item. I've been a fan since this young lady came out years ago! Still Standing takes me back to those good ole days. I am sooo glad Mo decided to take us back to the beginning. The girl KILLS ballets!!! No one can top or stop her with them. I can listen to "Love All Over Me" all day long!!! The entire album is GREAT and its an album you can just ride to. You don't have to hit "skip" if you know what I mean. Awesome Album!!! I'm glad that Monica is back, I've truly missed new music from her. This album takes us back to her VOICE and singing, not fluff and filler. Yes the beats are hot, but her voice is the gem that makes this album. It's all about vocals. I'm glad that she didn't go too much hip/hop or too much pop, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have you bobbing your head. After watching her show and learning more about her and what she wanted for this album, I think she did a GREAT job. GOOD MUSIC! She's clearly proven that she's STILL STANDING!
Stand outs for me: I started to list them but ended up listing the all the songs so with that being said....the WHOLE CD is a hit to me. I enjoyed this one from start to finish and I truly wish it was longer.
