Great cd collection , has most of their hits on it . The sound quality is as good as you can get from that era , the recording equipment back then was rudimentary at best so they have done a good job getting the best sound they could. The only dissapoinment was the straight mono version of A Little Bit Me, Little bit you . Definetly worth the money , you will be tapping your feet all day .Free Music Review: best of the monkees

A very comprehensive compilation of the tunes used in the show. Great pop songs by Boyce & Hart, and Neil Diamond are here. Also the elusive tune that played during the end credits [For Pete's Sake] is re-discovered. Mike Nesmiths skills as composer/musician are again brought to light. Even if you didn't care for the monkees ,the music stands the test of time quite well. OKDFree Music Review: You may like this too

This is the simply the best one-disc compilation of Monkees songs available. Aside from the excellent selection, it's noteworthy for containing what appears to be the first-ever TRUE STEREO release of "Goin' Down," and for its bonus CD+G disk of karaoke tracks, mixed from the original multitracks.
