Free Music Notes for Head (1968 Film)Free Music Review: An incredibly underrated album Hit: 5 Stars
Really one of the most original and underrated albums of the sixties, coming from the misunderstood but genius movie, HEAD. Check out the vocals on As We Go Along and Porpoise Song, and the Guitars on Long Title... These songs would have been hits if they were not by the Monkees. A must for any Monkees fan. Recommended for everyone else.
Free Music Review: Solid and enjoyable Hit: 5 Stars
Without a doubt, the most solid and enjoyable of the Monkees albums. The songs are all strong (which can not be said of many of their other collections) and the inclusion of sound clips from the movie was a revolutionary idea at the time. A "must have" for every Monkees fan and lots of fun for even casual fans of 60's music.
Free Music Review: Head: Not only a great movie Hit: 5 Stars
Head is my all time fave movie and I can't tell you how great the soundtrack is. Great vocals by all four Monkee, and this is certainly Peter at his best. Great songs like "As we go along" along with great bonus tracks make this album a must for any music fan. Trust me you will dig it.
Free Music Review: Wonderful Hit: 5 Stars
This soundtrack is GREAT! Buy it and the movie! They are both awesome. Nothing the like typical Monkees. WAY underrated and totally worth every penny and more. If you hate teenybopper Monkee stuff, than this album is perfect for you. Everybody should own it.
Free Music Review: Classic trippin' Monkees Hit: 5 Stars
This album is simply fantastic. Worth it all most for the haunting and fragile sounding "Porpoise song", which is perfectly complemented by the raw, agressive Nesmith hit "Circle Sky", this CD hasn't got a bad track on it!
