Really one of the most original and underrated albums of the sixties, coming from the misunderstood but genius movie, HEAD. Check out the vocals on As We Go Along and Porpoise Song, and the Guitars on Long Title... These songs would have been hits if they were not by the Monkees. A must for any Monkees fan. Without a doubt, the most solid and enjoyable of the Monkees albums. The songs are all strong (which can not be said of many of their other collections) and the inclusion of sound clips from the movie was a revolutionary idea at the time. Head is my all time fave movie and I can't tell you how great the soundtrack is. Great vocals by all four Monkee, and this is certainly Peter at his best. This album is simply fantastic. Worth it all most for the haunting and fragile sounding "Porpoise song", which is perfectly complemented by the raw, agressive Nesmith hit "Circle Sky", this CD hasn't got a bad track on it!
