The choral vocals and the orchestrated music make this feel a bit like listening to traditional Christmas music in addition to the very splendid music that I enjoy in church. Really, it's hard not to be pleased with this CD, and I would have to work to come up with a reason not to purchase it if you're even reomotely interested in it. Nahhhh...instead, I think I'll listen to it again.

We looked long and hard before settling on this cd for my in-laws. We wanted traditional, "older" hymns that they would know and this is very nice music that we enjoyed listening too also. It's hard to find just the right cd with all the ones out there, but this has a lot of hymns that are mostly old favorites and they are nicely done. Came quickly, well packed and with Amazon's great service! We recommend it!
