Iam only 17 years old, ive been listening to the Crue my whole life. Many other Crue fans dont like this album with John Corabi on vocals, but... many of them just judge the book by its cover. This album is a fusion of metal & bluesy type riffs and solos. Tommy Lee's drumming on this album is amazing. This album shows the real dark side of the Crue, and I love it. If my house was on fire, and I could only save two cd's, they would be Motley Crue: "Shout at the Devil", and Motley Crue: "Motley Crue". Me being a musician, this album really gives me inspiration with the lyrics, and the drumming. I highly recommend copping this cd. If you could find a classic metal album from 1994, this would be it.Free Music Review: What a shame...

This is album kicks ass...This IS the best album Crue has released...Corabi adds an element to Crue that is evident...His voice is raw and incredible...It is a shame that Crue fans didn't give Corabi a chance...The Crue should have stuck him and kept him as their vocalist...Van Halen fans also hated Sammy at first but look where he took them...Bigger than ever...Crue could have gone in a totally new hard ass direction, but they dropped the ball...Too bad... This album is their best ...I am not discounting Vince Neil at all..I like the stuff he did with Crue, but let's face it, let's be honest...This kicks the ass of anything the Crue has put past, present, and probably future...BELIEVE IT!!!!Free Music Review: Total Change

Now Hear This...! This is one of THE BEST Hard Rock Albums I have EVER heard. It matters not to me that everyone wanted to blame John Corabi for the failure of this Album. This was a promo discovery for me. I had heard Motley Crue before and WAS NOT impressed. IT WAS THE SINGER ! When Corabi was dropped into the mix EVERYTHING changed. The other Three members were ripe for this guy. They became a REAL band on this CD. It is the ONLY Motley Crue Album I will ever own. Anyone who wants to hear some KILLER Rock should invest in this CD. It ranks with anything else out there. PRIMO...''Hooligan's Holiday'' alone is worth getting it...but the rest of the CD is absolutely marvelous.Free Music Review: One of the Best albums of all time

The first time I listened to this album I didnt know what to think, By the 3rd time I was hooked!! This freakin album is one of the greatest things I ever listened to. I can put this on today (11 years after its release) and still be blown away!! It is the only Crue album I can honestly say that about. I always thought Crue were OK writers this albums showed me these guys are monsters!! I wish there had been a follow up to this recording. Unfortuantly Crue fans didnt get it. Maybe they should have called themselves something other than Motley Crue. I totally recommend it!!Free Music Review: better than given credit for

This album is better than what it was given credit for. This was put out during the time Vince was not with the band. It was a new direction and a new sound and it was great. My personal thought on the album was that John was a good addition to the Crue making the sound of the band more heavy metal than the past albums. I am a Crue fan and have stuck with tha band through all albums and like all the albums but besides Dr. Feelgood this is my favorite. Thank you Motley Crue for having the testicular fortitude to try something new and putting it out there for us.
