Free Music Notes for Motley CrueFree Music Review: Bad to the Bone! Hit: 5 Stars
Overall this may be one of the most perfect heavy metal CDs ever recorded. The original MC vocalists SUCKs (IMHO) - with his high voice, etc. This vocalist has the perfect growl AND the composition on this album is superb pretty much throughout.
An essential addition to any Metalhead's collection - throw out the rest of your MC and use this - why degrade yourself?
Free Music Review: thank the rock Gods for corabi Hit: 5 Stars
Thi CD gets a 5 because there is no vince.I own only one Crue CD and this is it.Corabi's pipes sold this CD for me.Along with some nifty guitars from both Corabi and Mars.Every hard rockers must have. One of the best CD's of the 90's.This line-up shouldv'e made a couple of more cd's,but the fans wanted that no talent Vince back in the fold, too bad

Free Music Review: John Corabi To The Rescue Hit: 4 Stars
The Crue parted ways with singer Vince Neil in the idle years following their hit, "Dr. Feelgood," replacing him with hoarse shouter John Corabi, who could not sound less like Neil. The resulting album was in a sense their highest quality album, but have little to do with Motley Crue as we know them.
Corabi would seem to be the driving force of the songwriting instead of bassist Nikki Sixx and you have to give the Crue credit for taking such a risk. Gone is the sleaze and much of the metal riffing, replaced with more serious lyrics and bottom-heavy, sometimes grunge influenced rock. Although the hooks aren't the focus and the songs may be less memorable initially than their previous output, the band sounds revitalized as they embrace the new material. The music is much more ambitious and instrumentally satisfying than any of their other efforts.
Fans of John Corabi (from the Scream and Union), who truly succeeds in breathing new life into the Crue, will love this. Longtime fans may feel differently, though as there are only a couple of songs I can envision Vince Neil singing, if I imagine hard enough. This is easily one of the Crue's most consistent albums in terms of quality songwriting and is a very enjoyable effort, even though most Crue fans will want to pretend it didn't happen.
