Free Music Review: Score for listening stations
Hit: 5 Stars

I must admit, I was never a huge fan of this band, and I've actually been a bit put off ever since I first heard the "Afraid" song from Generation Swine. I did buy the self-titled release with John Corabi and I think it's ok, but it's not enough to really get me into what the band was doing. Then I saw this on a listening station so I gave it a try. This album has got it all, the rockers ("Hell on High Heels", "Punched in the Teeth by Love"), the ballads (and actually not to terrible), and the silly ("1st Band on the Moon", "Porno Star"). On of the best surprises is the cover of "White Punks on Dope" at the end. This song seems tailor-made for the band. I wasn't real sure they had it in them, but this is perhaps their best album yet. Maybe Tommy Lee shouldn't have gone on to do his own thing.

Free Music Review: One of Motley's best CDs
Hit: 5 Stars

Okay, those of you who were disappointed with Generation Swine/MC94, I know you guys love the 'classic' Motley sound. New Tattoo is classic Motley. The first single Hell on High Heel is a great catchy song, and the song is not even the best song in the album! Nikki Sixx posted some demos in motley.com and I'm sure many Crueheads have heard Timebomb and First Band on The Moon which were killer demos. They're in New Tattoo in their full glory. Treat Me Like The Dog I Am and Punched In Teeth By Love are great rockers. The two ballads are pretty good, although Hollywood ending sounds a bit like 'Creep' by Radiohead. This is Motley at their finest and this album can stand next to Feelgood, TFFL or Shout (their best works). I was happy with Def Leppard's latest album, disappointed with Bon Jovi's latest album but I'm happy again with this album. Get it.

Free Music Review: They've Done It Again...
Hit: 5 Stars

If you you thought, like many did (including myself), thatGeneration Swine signaled the end for Motley Crue, guessagain. After 20 years, the Crue has released a CD that ranks along side their best works. Is it as raw as Too Fast For Love? No. Is it as heavy as Shout At The Devil? No. It is as chockfull of hit songs as Dr. Feelgood? No. But New Tattoo is an excellent combination of the three. From the opening track (which is their first single), Hell in High Heels, Crue lets you know, that they are back, and they mean business. With the exception of the two power ballads that adorn this CD, New Tattoo and Hollywood Ending, this CD is relentless. Every track on this is pure Crue. There is no need to highlight the brighter spots, because they all shine. If you have ever been a fan of Nikki and the boys, buy this CD.

Free Music Review: MOTLEY CRUE HAS THEIR FIRE BACK!
Hit: 5 Stars

Finally, an album that's a worthy follow-up to the very popular "Dr. Feelgood"! The Crue is back in the saddle with this newest release. Vince Neal sounds better than ever. The chemistry that made "Dr. Feelgood" sound SO good is there once again. As with most Motley Crue albums, this album is just for fun with tongue firmly planted in cheek. But it's also entirely possible that they are the only band that could pull off a BALLAD titled "New Tattoo". It's sweet really, but when you read that title you don't expect a ballad. The song "New Tattoo" is very much in keeping with their traditional rock and rebellion style . . . with a softer edge. The whole album rocks and longtime fans will love this new release. A good Crue staple for any melodic hard rock collection!

Free Music Review: Rude, Crued, and Tattooed! The Crue is back!
Hit: 5 Stars

MC94 and Generation Swine were great rock albums, but notexactly targeted at the original Crue fans. Motley was experimenting, and you know what, it didn't work. If you're looking for that alternative, techno grunge sound, go buy a Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, or sell-out Metallica album. This isn't Tommy's Methods of Mayhem, this is Nikki, Vince, and Mick's Motley Crue - the way it should be! If you're looking for classic feelgood rock, New Tattoo will deliver. Remember how TFFL, Shout, Girls, and Feelgood didn't have a single bad song on the whole set. Those chartbusters now have an equal in New Tattoo! Rip the plastic off, shove this CD in your player, crank the knob, and see for yourself that the boys are back! Loud, rude, crued and tattooed - isn't that what Motley was all about to begin with?
