This album has it all. if you are tired of the pitiful rock bands of today, then plug this in to your cd player, sit back and rock the night away. a musical adventure that takes you through the streets of L.A. and the rock and roll lifestyle like no other band can manage. the Crue was, is, and will always be the real deal. a real hardcore rock and roll band that is not afraid to rock the show and let it all hang out. with this band, once again rock and roll is fun, no more self pity and words you can't understand with these new age bands. pure rock and roll, that simple. not one bad song on the album. if you wanna be a real rocker, this album is all you need. the crue has done it again. but what else do you expect from the greatest rock and roll band of all time?

Motley is back and better than ever! Mix the energy & passion of SHOUT AT THE DEVIL with the heavy backbeet of DR. FEELGOOD, dash in some GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS hooks and you have NEW TATTOO! Vince sounds like he did on the 1st 2 Crue CDs, Nikki thumping bass lines and lyrics are current and refreshing, and I swear that Mick Mars' guitar-playing is the best ever...yes that good! The only thing that is missing is Tommy Lee's skin bashing...don't get me wrong, Randy Castillo does a good job but is just "there", Tommy is a legend and can not be replaced. The CRUE throw some punk attitude on the songs also. Highlights are HEEL ON HIGH HEELS, NEW TATTOO, 1ST BAND ON THE MOON, HOLLYWOOD ENDING. Great stuff by MOTLEY CRUE! New Tattoo is a return to Motley Crue's original free spirited rock and roll roots. There is honestly not one weak or filler song on this album. From the opening chords of the 1st single Hell On High Heels to the last notes of the classic cover of the Tubes White Punks On Dope, this album is a triumphant return to form for one of the greatest bands ever. Treat Me Like the Dog That I Am, Dragstrip Superstar, She Needs Rock and Roll, Punched In the Teeth By Love, Fake, and Porno Star are some of the Crue's best songs ever. I can't say that this is their best album since Dr. Feelgood because unlike most people Generation Swine is one of my favorite Motley Crue albums. Definately buy New Tattoo as soon as you get a chance. Trust me you won't be dissappointed.Free Music Review: MOTLEY CRUE HAS A "NEW TATTOO"

Well, its been a long time coming. The nineties music scene has been the biggest disappointment thus far in the world of Rock N Roll, until now. July 11, 2000 and Motley Crue releases the best studio album in years that fans have long awaited. This album has everything from Ballad to Groove to non-stop headbanging. When you listen to this latest release of Motley Crue you'll be reminded of what Rock N Roll was all about. Which is kick-a**, good time, party music. Being a huge fan of the 80's SUPERBANDS like Poison and Skid Row. I'm so glad Motley Crue has given the fans something worth listening too. This album is well appreciated by all the fans who never stopped believing in true Rock N Roll, Motley style...Free Music Review: Real Rock and Roll is Back

All I can really say about this is "WOW." This has become one of my favorite albums of all time. As much as I liked the steps the band took to be "louder" on the Motley Crue and Generation Swine albums, this has them going back to the traditional formula: aggressive guitars, pounding drums, and fine vocal range. If you have heard the first two tracks on the Greatest Hits album, you might have an idea as to what these might sound like. However these are clearly very polished and well arranged. This has to be the finest "comeback" album since KISS released Phycho Circus. It's not so much that the Crue went away, it's just that this is the Crue I really love.
