I was skeptical when I first picked up this disk because of the absence of drummer Tommy Lee. But let me just say this, Motley Crue REALLY impressed me, so much so that I rank this disk as one of my top ten favorites in my massive cd collection. "Hell In High Heels" is a straight ahead rocker, a perfect opener for the bolt of lightening about to be unleashed. "New Tattoo" and "Hollywood Ending" are soulful tunes, beautifully crafted with heartwrenching vocals by leadman Vince Neil. Not necessarily for fans of an album like "Dr. Feelgood", it's a more mature Motley. This album really stands out as being one of the best in Motley's long history.Free Music Review: Get This New Motley Album

Alright, I have to tell someone about this new Motley Crue album. Many will reject it straight out because this band has been relatively quiet lately, but it is absolutely incredible, by far the most listenable rock album put out in the last five years and maybe more. From beginning to end, it rocks. Its like I've been waiting ten years for some good new rock and someone finally gave me something to listen to. New Tattoo is at least as good as Dr. Feelgood. Its such a relief to hear the Crue put out a real Motley Crue album after so long. If you don't get New Tattoo and you are a rock fan, you are missing out on something big.Free Music Review: Good Album

New Tattoo is a cross from Too Fast For Love and Girls, Girls, Girls. It starts of with Hell on High Hells a solid song, but not a real heavy one. That being said this album is not that heavy but does have a few heavy songs. Fake and Punched in the Teeth by Love are two very good and heavy songs. Dragstrip Superstar has a great start to it and is probably the third best song on the album. Porno Star and First Band on the Moon are two good songs with a Rock/Pop type sound. This is a good album, of course it's not good as Shout at the Devil but it is a quality album with sounds from the older Crue albums.Free Music Review: The Motley Machine is Back!!!

I listend to this cd one time and knew it was one for the ages. After listening to it over and over all day I tried to pick a favorite song and couldn't. I'd pick one and remember another one I loved just as much. The best thing about Motley and most of the other 80's hard rockers is that they knew how to write a ballad. The same holds true for NEW TATTOO. The title track and Hollywood Ending are real jems. Man its just like in 86' when you'd buy a tape and it had a ballad on each side. If you are a die hard Crue fan then buy this album. This is the album that should have followed DR. FEELGOODFree Music Review: Crue-a-holic

The boys are back (or most of them anyways). Even without Tommy Lee, these boys can still play. This has the same feel Of all of their 80's music with a splash of something fresh and new. When Vince Neil left and they released their self titled album in '94, it wasn't the same. And even though I liked "Generation Swine", this album tears that one up and just keeps on going. With my personal favs like "Fake", "She Needs Rock-N- Roll", and "Treat Me Like The Dog I Am", this albums kicks. A must for any Crue fan and something to check out for any new fans.
