This is a stunning work by the only band that could have created it - a hard rock tour de force concept album that describes the band's early years and the Sunset Strip scene. I challenge any band to match the Grammy nominated title song for sheer power and intensity and then follow it with the sneering masterpiece "MF Of The Year." I wasnt expecting much afet being disappointed too many times by great bands that try to hang on too long and put out crappy music late in their careers, but Motley Crue really suprised me with this offering. They have retained their old sounds while updating it. Yhere are some very strong songs on this CD. I highly recommend for those of us craving to hear hard rock like it should be played.Free Music Review: Motley Crue Is BACK!

Saints Of Los Angeles is a true return to classic form for Motley Crue! With the original lineup intact, they sound as fresh as they did back in 1985! The title track "Saints of Los Angeles" is reminiscent of their song "Wild Side" from back in the day! Vince Neil has the same vocal abilities that he did in the 80's--Truly fantastic album! This CD is all I was hoing for and a whole lot more.
You get big choruses, killer guitar riffs and solos...drumming unlike anything out there right now...Vince singing his best ever notes...and Nikki''s songwriting genius.
What more could you ask for...no, really.
