Free Music Notes for Shout at the Devil

Free Music Review: very good soph effort
Hit: 5 Stars

Coming off their Tough as nails 'Too Fast for Love' debut masterpiece, MC came back a little more polished, but still powerful. After this, too much commercial pap panderng to the masses.

Yes, it's immature (and the album cover IS embarassing), but it's not childish. Any album that contains the sleaziest lyric in the history of rock deserves attention at least for that, and cannot be considered childish. (In '10 Secs to Love', Sixx seems to be proposing to a young woman that they have sex, take pictures of it, and then distribute them to small children)

Free Music Review: one of the 10 best heavy metal albums ever
Hit: 5 Stars

This is not only the crues best but one of the ten best metal albums ever. When this album came out there was at least one of my many friends playing this album every night. When theature of pain came out they started ducking out and started acting like posers but they were good when the first two albums where made.Anyone who says this is the crues best album ever is a true metal fan and not a poser.this album will always rock and the way tommy lee goes off with the drums in red hot and all of the songs are great which makes this album a metal classic!

Free Music Review: Excellent
Hit: 5 Stars

Buy this cd now if you are into 80's music. I suggest getting the cd with the bonus tracks including "I Will Survive," a great forgotton song. You will not regret your purchase as all the songs are fantastic. What makes this album distinct is the fullness of their guitar/bass combination which permeates every song. Just listen to "Bastard," "Too Young To Fall In Love," and you'll know what I mean. The louder the songs are played, the better. This album is adrenalizing and exhilerating and an experience which you will not forget.

Free Music Review: Motley showed the path to many wayward headbangers.....
Hit: 5 Stars

To this day, no album has had an impact on my life like Shout. The day I bought this I became not only a diehard metalhead, but also decided that I would be a musician. 15 years later, the path is never ending and I still swear by loud guitars and pounding drums. New metal bands such as Deftones, Machine Head and Skinlab can not deny that this was a big part of their musical up-bringings too. I can only hope that my bands soon to be released CD will have one quarter the impact on someone else.

Free Music Review: Ultra ...L.A. Aggression At It's Finest!!
Hit: 5 Stars

For me, this is the best Crue disc ever! After reading "The Dirt" I learned that the recording of this album was fueled by huge amounts of ... and the aggressive sound and lyrics definately reflect that. The title track sets the tone which then leads into "Looks That Kill" which is still one of the best metal songs ever! Vince sounds like some kind of banshee, Tommy's drums are huge, Mick's guitar tone is just plain rude and Nikki looks possessed in the videos! I love it!
