Free Music Notes for Too Fast for LoveFree Music Review: tough stuff Hit: 5 Stars
"Raw, powerful, gritty" are the adjectives most of the other reviewers are using, and with good reason. This is the straight up real deal.
The lyrics to "Live Wire" are what Tipper Gore read on the floor of the US house of reps, her hands and voice shaking, when she was trying to promote censorship of Rock. ("I'll either break her face or take down her legs...")
Unfortunately, MC got worse instead of better. 'Shout @ Devil' was a very good follow up, but from there on out, they were in large part pandering to the crowd instead of screaming from the heart.
Free Music Review: Best Crue Album! Hit: 5 Stars
this album finds the Crue at their very earlist, more remisecent of punk/metal than the glossed commercial rock they were to become. Too fast for Love and Live wire are the stand outs on this well crefted album. Mick Mars is in top form, with excellent guitar playing and riffing. Vince Neil sounds some what different, like a singer not yet comfortable in his shoes, but this doesn't dittract from the performance. The album even has the video for Too Fast for Love. Is it worth it? If you like the Crue, but are looking for where they came from.
Free Music Review: Hard, Raw Rock n Roll Hit: 5 Stars
This is the Crue's first album and probably the best. Not one song comes close to being bad. This was the last Motley Crue album I bought, I did'nt think it would be so good. How wrong I was. It couldn't be better. The guitars are rough and raw, the singing is obnoxious and loud. Nikki Sixx's songwiting is genius. No one exept Nikki can take great pop melodies and turn them metal. Yes, this is one of my all-time favorite albums. Buy it and you will see why.
Free Music Review: BACK WHEN ROCK & ROLL DIDN'T HAVE AN AGENDA!! Hit: 5 Stars
Motley Crue & Van Halen have always been my favorite bands!!
I guess you'd call it glam rock but liked it back then,
I still like the CRUE infact I saw the Girls-Girls-Girls Tour!!
One of the best live shows I ever seen, rock back then was fun.
Kinda like a soundtrack for the party you were goin to be at that weekend!!
LONG LIVE THE CRUE!!
I rate this CD a 9 from 1to10!!
Free Music Review: Excellent Re-Vamp of 80s Metal Hit: 5 Stars
This album brings back the classics of the early Crue, like "Live Wire" and "On With the Show" but it gives you much more. The enhanced edition includes a video of "Live Wire". Also, finally, here are the early songs "Toast of the Town" and "Stick To Your Guns". Does the Crue have no new material to put out? Makes me wonder why they finally made these oldies widely available.
