Free Music Review: What an AWESOME CD

Ever since the movie came out, and I noticed how much music had been left out, I had been greatly disappointed. I kept hoping that the producers of the movie would indeed release another volume for the soundtrack, and I was not disappointed. It has more of the great songs that had been omitted, and helps to keep the movie's spirit alive. However, I do hope along with the other reviews that have so far been posted that they release a third volume with all of the other music they still left out. Even the little snipit songs that don't last any longer than 30 seconds. Hopefully, I have another volume of great music to look forward to.Free Music Review: More great music from the film...

This contains many great tracks missing from the original soundtrack, including Like A Virgin, Spectacular Spectacular and The Show Must Go On. I thought the inclusion of two instrumental versions of Your Song might be a bit redundant, but upon listening to them I really enjoyed them and they are quite different from one another. The remix of One Day I'll Fly Away is quite lovely (it's now a bit trip-hop) and the film versions of Come What May and Sparking Diamonds are better than the versions on CD 1. Neither CD is a perfect representation of the film, but together it's a pretty complete set of the jewels of Moulin Rouge.Free Music Review: WOW

Moulin Rouge is undoubtedly the best screenplay written in years. It combines comedy, tradegy, drama and all elements are visually and emotionally "spectacular!" the music associated with the film is equally varied and unique, and the second soundtrack was necessary to fill in gaps left by the first soundtrack. Whether you loved Moulin Rouge or hated it everyone can appreciate some of the music from it . . .in my opinion Moulin Rouge is the best film ever created, everything about it was spectacular, and the morals it presents ones that everyone should live by. don't live your life without love.Free Music Review: Sparkling!

This second soundtrack compilation of music from the movie Moulin Rouge fills in most of the gaps from the first soundtrack. I found myself grinning ear to ear as I listened. Baz and co. are musical geniuses, IMO (see also soundtracks to Strictly Ballroom, Romeo & Juliet, and Baz' Something for Everybody compilation). If you loved the first soundtrack and loved the movie, this cd is a must. The only thing I found lacking, or missing, is the reprise of 'Come What May' from the musical at the end of the film. I would have included that piece instead of the 'One Day I'll Fly Away' remix.Free Music Review: It's Moulin Rouge! What more can you say?

It's Moulin Rouge, so automatically, its the best music to my ears! But I, along with some others, expected just a bit more! But if you're a true Moulin Rouge fanatic like myself, anything to do with the movie is awesome to have. There's a lot of great songs on this soundtrack, and they're taken right from the movie unlike most of the 1st soundtrack. The Pitch and Like A Virgin are hilarious, and the remixes and Your Song instrumental are really great!! Overall, if you love Moulin Rouge, you'll love this soundtrack!! If you don't have the first one yet...definitely get it!!
