When I saw the movie, I fell in love, so I bought the soundtrack, then I needed more, so I bought the other CD. I love them both and I couldn't live without them. I listen to the CDs 24/7. They remind me of the movie. There's something for everyone on the CD; the songs make me laugh and they make me sad, No matter what, they get me singing at the top of my lungs, that's for sure!Free Music Review: Excellent addition to the first

As a composer and arranger I found it wonderful to hear the orchestrations and subtleties found in the film score rather than just the "cleaned and prepped" versions of the songs on the original soundtrack (Althouh I give it a 5 as well...) I can honestly say, that the movie and the soundtrack are my favorites of each. I honestly LOVE it and will buy anymore albums that the movie decides to dish to the public. If you loved the original music from the film version, this is the CD for you. The first CD is also enjoyable, but since I prefer the film versions, I enjoyed this collection of music from Moulin Rouge more than the other. "Come What May" ranks right up in my top 10 songs of all time. It's great to have the film version in CD format.Free Music Review: Perfect

The second disc of the Moulin Rouge! movie soundtracks is absolutely amazing. The gorgeous melodies composed by Craig Armstrong would be such a shame to lose without this second release. The movie versions of the songs make you feel like you're right back in the film. The music is so vivid and emotional, it's impossible not to fall in love.
