This offer is an incredible bargain at just over 50 cents a CD. The price jumps around often - you can sometimes get it for $4 or $5 less. but still at 50 cents. Mine arrived in excellent shape - it's hard for them to do otherwise. The way they are packaged they are either in good shape or some major disaster has happened destroying a whole bunch. Those I have played sound great. It will probably take a life time to play them all. Meanwhile we can just revel in our riches and feel all warm and fuzzy.
I also own the Bach set and am wildly happy with that as well.

This set is a value that is almost beyond belief. Every note Mozart ever wrote (that we have on paper, anyway...)rendered in superb peformances. A conservative guess of the price of all of these performaces as individual CDs is in the $3500 -- $4000 range. I can't find a thing to criticize in any of the performances -- tempi are right, orchestral sound superb, singers superb, choruses clear, not muddy. About the only compaint so far is the use of the fortepiano instead of the modern piano in the chamber music-- it may be authentic, but the richness of the music is somehow harder to hear. The Masses and other sacred music are a real find, and the juvenal operas. Really, new treasures at every hand, and very good to outstanding performances
