Free Music Notes for Multiplication Unplugged

Free Music Review: Great way to learn Multiplication very early
Hit: 5 Stars

My 4 yr old likes it very much. Within couple of months he learned all the multiplications in the CD. He especially likes the self-quizzing music tracks. He loves to say the answers in those songs. I am glad I introduced this CD to him.

Free Music Review: Great for 3rd Graders
Hit: 5 Stars

My 3 girls, each in turn, enjoyed learning their multiplication tables with this CD. The tunes -- except the waltzes -- are catchy and stay with the child. Even my kindergarten boy sings along when his big sister plays this.

I bought this CD for my son who has struggled with his multiplication tables. I love the beat and it is really easy to follow. We LOVE it!

Free Music Review: It's Definitely Helping...
Hit: 4 Stars

My 8yo daughter is extremely difficult to teach new things to. She's a perfectionist. So when I tried to start teaching her multiplication (she's homeschooled), I was extremely frustrated. I got online and bought this CD. She didn't want to listen to it, but I put the CD on in the car on the way to Gymnastics. By the time we got there, she said that she liked it and "if I can learn all the words to an Avril Lavigne song, I can learn these songs and then I'll know my times tables!" We've been listening in the car for two weeks now and she's hooked. She knows the 2's and 3's and 4's by heart and she has confidence that she will be able to learn the higher numbers if we keep listening to the CD. We also say the tables out loud, do flashcards and she has a CD-ROM game. However, she seems to get the most out of this Audio CD.

The songs are a bit corny, but they definitely stick in your head...a plus for memorizing, a minus when you're a parent trying to fall asleep at night. Overall, we liked this CD and I'm ordering the others (Addition, Subtraction and Division) to help my daughter gain some confidence in performing those operations. Good luck to all!

Free Music Review: You won't stop singing them!
Hit: 4 Stars

I have not listened to other products designed to teach multiplication so am unable to compare. One of the reviews I read here on Amazon prior to my ordering it said that the songs were juvenile and babyish....so I was skeptical when I ordered. But, now that we are using it (we are homeschoolers) I am more than pleased. I wouldn't call the tunes juvenile or babyish, but they are simple....and for that I am glad. They get right to the point and have you singing by 4's,6's, 9's, etc. and right on into the multiplication problems themselves. It is right in line with the way Saxon Math (which we use) teaches the times table. My 2nd grader is singing the tunes constantly. Although he rarely ASKS to listen to them, I just play the ones that apply (they are organized nicely on the disc) and I hear him singing along in the next room. Warning...you, the parent, or anyone listening, will find that you can't stop singing them....they get drilled into your head even with very little listening time. I am comfortable recommending this product to anyone.
