Free Music Notes for Music From the Motion Picture Josie And The PussycatsFree Music Review: JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS ROCKS! Hit: 5 Stars
Ok, so I don't have the soundtrack, but I just got back from the movie, which has ALL the songs. People-------the songs on this album ROCK! They have great tunes, and great lyrix. SO why wouldn't anyone want it, unless they had TERRIBLE taste in music? I don't have the album, but I know that I'm going to get it ASAP. So, people that don't know if they want to buy it or go look for another cd, I say you should get it, if you're smart! The songs rock! JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS rocks!
Free Music Review: will rock your socks off! Hit: 5 Stars
i'm a guy, and like most guys who were forced by their female friends to listen to this album, i was a bit skeptical about it's praise. but after listening to it just once, this album rocks! it's fast, fun, and great to listen to on a sunny summer drive. every song is great, except i don't really like Money too much, and those songs by Dujour i usually skip past. every girl's gotta have this album, and if you're a guy who's secure in his sexuality, give it a listen.
Free Music Review: A good punk-pop mixed cd with great impersonators Hit: 5 Stars
Well I bought this cd the day it was released and I was totally amazed by some new punk recorded by Kay Hanley of Letters to Cleo ! She really helped out the impersonators Rachel Leigh Cook and Tara Reid of the band from the movie. Great mix of punk, pop, and rock ! Well who cares if Rachel Leigh is lip-synching and pretending to play guitar ? They still have the looks and the impersonating sound for this cd ! Well I can't wait til the movie comes out !
Free Music Review: Come on! Come on! Hit: 5 Stars
this cd is original. all of the girls in the movie sang the songs. how cool is that? the songs can be caterogized as " angry girl music" and also features two songs from dejour. dejour is the parody band of boy bands. the cd features the hit song-they even made a vidio for it-three small words. also spin around and pretend to be nice. a must have cd for all girls who enjoy girls-telling-guys-off music. that is definetly what these songs do.
Free Music Review: These Kitties Rule Hit: 5 Stars
A satirical, whimsical world of boy bands, MTV, and Carson Daly. A perfect soundtrack for a guilty pleasured fun-filled movie. The vocals on this is done by Kay Hanley. What? You don't know her? The girl with the angry and sweet babydoll vocals who sang for the former Boston band Letters to Cleo. Another plus for the Dujour parody. It's very short but to the point. Perfect to sing along to with your girlfriends while cruising down Candyland.
