Immediately after seeing this movie, I made it a point to buy the soundtrack. It's perfect for when you're in one of those moods where you just wanna rock out to some feel good rock music. Although the song "Around The World" by the fictional boyband DuJour is frighteningly similar to the song "We've Got It Goin' On" by the Backstreet Boys.......Definitely NOT a good part of the CD. Great songs that have the same kind of topics and mood of the original songs from the cartoon, but these songs have an energetic edge that the original songs lacked. That edge makes this music work! Anyone expecting the same '70's, dated sound that the cartoon Josie had, will be surprised(though I think in a good way) to find that this music bears no resemblance and is strong enough to stand on its own in the category of soundtracks.Free Music Review: Punk!

I love this CD and the movie. After watching the movie several times I knew that I had to own this CD and the music makes me jump up and dance and takes me out of any bad mood I'm in! You have to get this, it's awesome! Even people who don't like the movie will love the CD and songs like, "3 Small Words," "You Don't See Me," and "You're a Star." YOU HAVE TO BUY IT!!!!!!!! You will love the track : "3 Small Words" wheather youve seen the movie or not. But i'd reccomend getting the cd before u see the movie that way you can sing along to all of the songs in the movie! If you like hip music, that all of your friends listen to aka popular music or just pop! The songs are extremely catchy too! This is a must buy item of the year!Free Music Review: good and bad!!

This is rock music! So I'll leave you with a piece of advice. DON'T BUY THIS CD UNLESS YOU LIKE ROCK!! I like rock music, but not too much of it. I mean, you get tired from all that noise. I was tempted to turn the cd player off, instead I listened to the whole cd just so i can write a review on it. The only songs i skip are the ones by DuJour...they were such an awful [and funny] band.
