Free Music Review: What a joy to see! Perfect movie experience!

What a terrific movie- great comedic touches and delivery, original, fun. Hugh Grant- note-perfect as always, but this time mean it in musical sense as well. Great chemistry between Drew and Hugh, and nothing heavy handed about the fun it pokes in betweens the enjoyable romantic and character story lines. I Loved it! Great clever scenes, funny lines plus engaging story. Big Kudos and thanks to all involved! Oh yeah, and the music was really fresh and catchy too. The last "soundtrack" album I bought was "Spamalot" and before that, I don't even remember when. I will definitely get this one for the recordings, but also to help me relive such a fun, high-quality movie.Free Music Review: A Way Back Into the Movie

We rented the DVD from Netflix and I was fascinated with the idea that these two stars, Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore, actually did their own vocals, so I wanted the CD. They are not fabulous singers, but they are alright and it is true to the spirit and flavor of the movie.
I love it. It recreates a couple of my favorite scenes from the movie as I drive along in my car. I am glad they included the dialog in the demo version of "Way Back Into Love."
My only criticism would be that they did not include some of the other songs in the movie which I would have loved. I guess they had trouble getting permission for that.

I love Listening to the Soundtrack of the movie. It feels like you're in a love affair with someone. I love listening to mostly every song. My number one favorite song out of all of them is Pop! Goes my Heart. I want to get that Soundtrack along with the movie so that I don't have to watch the movie and then get the Soundtrack. My Former British Boyfriend Sir Hugh was so Naive and I read in Wikipedia that Drew Barrymore, Hugh Grant, and Haley Bennett did they're own singing. I would barely Listen to it over and over on the songs I like to Listen to. I also have them on my Ipod. I feel so great and I was taking it well.Free Music Review: Pure Fun!

I saw the movie yesterday and loved it. After the movie, I immmediately bought the sound track. Like the movie it is pure fun. Hugh Grant's voice & music are perfect for the catchy 8o's songs! The takeoffs on modern music are right on target and also fun.
The highlights of the soundtrack - are the highlights of the movie- Grant's :Pop! Goes My Heart and the memorable duet of Hugh Grant & Drew Barrymore: Way Back Into Love. The latter song has some dialogue between Drew & Hugh which captures the romantic & humorous spirit of the movie.
I hope radio plays these songs they deserve to be hits!

I rented the Music and Lyrics movie expecting to go through the same emotions I experience when watching any romantic comedy. And as I expected, I watched with a silly smile on my face, there were moments I yelled at the TV, I bopped to the music, I laughed, and I cried, and I was totally charmed. But I am seldom so dazzled by a film's soundtrack to literally rush out and buy a copy!! The lyrics are catchy and refreshing, the songs are upbeat and fun, and they all mesh together perfectly. This is a soundtrack I will be listening to all summer long, and well after summer is over.
