This CD is simply too much fun not to have in your music collection. Worth every penny.
For, ahem, more mature listeners such as myself, the tunes will absolutely remind you of your childhood shopping trips to Sears/JC Penneys to buy school clothes, and of the game shows on the old black-and-white teevee.
The tunes are perfect for vacuuming/ironing/washing dishes to. I found myself longing to put on an apron and get to work cleaning up as soon as I put the record on the hifi. I mean, put the CD into the CD player. Whoa, flashback.
I also found myself longing to put on a shirtwaist dress, high heels, lipstick, a little hat and purse and go grocery shopping, so do not underestimate the nostalgia power that is packed in this little disk!

I have been looking for this music collected since about 1969 when I started first grade. I loved the music of the school educational movies, and I never knew there would be some other nuts who would love it enough to put it together on disc. My kids love it too. My wife, alas, doesn't get it, but puts up with it out of love of family. Great for breaking tension when it's time to clean the house. Just pop it on and say to the kids with a hokey smile, "Hey guys, let's clean the house! It'll look swell!" Everyone will chip in and do their part thanks to this bouncy soundtrack!Free Music Review: Awesome Buy

This item is great, I dunno why I find the 50's era so facinating. Is it the cars....? Nope. Is it the stylish appliances? Nope. I know....its gotta be the music.
Pop this CD in and prepare to be transported back 50 years. Some tracks make you feel like you are in one of those vintage infomercials, or even move you to go and bake a cake for your perfect family.
If you are a fan of this type of vintage music, I recommend you go and buy this one. You shouldn't be disappointed.

I LOVE this CD. It's charming, bubbly, campy and just giddyly nostalgic.
I want more, much more of this. It makes great backgound music and is recognizable to any of us that watched television in the 1950's and 1960's and watched Ren&Stimpy. It's really the 1950's sound that I crave. I'm giving this CD as gifts. I LOVE IT!

If you've ever wished to live within an episode of "Leave it to Beaver" or "The Donna Reed Show" you'll need a sound track. This disc is perfect for that. Put it on while your stuck in traffic and everything will seem a little less serious or urgent. It's a lighthearted cure for a sick world.
