Free Music Notes for Home for ChristmasFree Music Review: Absolutely Beautiful!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
I just recently bought this CD.. I am glad I did.. I have said this before and I will say it again.. NSYNC has all the skill to have continued sucess in the business of music... Not only do they have the voices to keep at the top of the charts, they have good heads on their shoulders and are sincere and dedicated to what they do..But most importantly they truly respect their fans.. Alot of the fans do get a bit OVERLY OBSESSIVE and annoy even me, but the guys have hearts of gold..They NEVER talk bad about the fans.. NEVER talk down to the fans. But above all, NEVER disrespect the fans.. OK Back to the CD..After hearing this CD I have come to the realization that these 5 guys REALLY need to do a complete A Cappella Album.. "O Holy Night" just amazed me..I literally sat with my mouth agape at the harmonies that these men posess.. And another thing about it is that it is not all covers.. It has completely original material..These songs have meaning and passion, and when listening to them you can't help but sing along with all of your heart.. All in all, The BEST Christmas CD I have EVER Heard... Read the liner notes too.. To finally see people my age have a strong faith in God and not afraid to admit it.. I applaud them.. I am no "angel" by any means LOL but I do have faith.. and to see these guys not shy away from it is just wonderful.. Ok is this long enough??? hehehe Well y'all take care.. Keep It Real & God Bless!!!
Free Music Review: You MUST take this one "Home for Christmas"!! Hit: 5 Stars
From "Crossing the ocean with my window view.." all the way through to "...kiss me at midnight, dance until the morning light" I LOVE this CD. This collection of songs fills me with the joy of the season and makes me realize how lucky I am to have my family and friends!! I like the fact that while there are some traditional songs here, they've been given a little '90's "sumpin', sumpin'". I have been listening to this CD NON-STOP for the past 6 days...in my home, in my car, I even took the thing to work and played it for everyone there!! I realized after just a few repeat listenings how much joy and hope this music gives me. The lyrics are filled with so much meaning...the importance of family and friends, the love we share with them, and the love of that special someone. I will say it now--loud and proud: I am a 31 year old woman and I love this group!! 5 VERY gifted, positive, gracious young men. They've touched my heart with their music and I will be a life-long fan!! Get ready to bop your behind off to "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" and if you don't have a smile on your face after you've heard it, we'll know where the Grinch lives!! Beg for this one people--you don't "need a hundred gifts beneath the tree". Just this one--you won't be sorry, I promise! God definitely spent a little more time on these 5--thanx J.C., Justin, Joey, Lance and Chris!! Stay N SYNC!!
Free Music Review: Best Christmas Albumn Recorded This Century! Hit: 5 Stars
Home For Christmas is a beautiful peace of song writing andsong singing! *NSYNC's voices carry out the lyrics to these songs and make them even more beautiful than they are already. In one song entitled "It's Christmas"which is track #10 Justin sings a line in the second verse that is outstanding and well written the line is "cold winter nights may come and go, but were still dancin slow... can't you hear my song the song I sing for you". To some this may seem like just another mushy boyband line, but to a true *NSYNC fan who's heard it they know the combination of the words and Justins harmonic voice is like nothing else. I'd also like to add that I think *NSYNC are some of the most hard working young people in the music business today. They unfortunately give up having normal lives like most people their age to please the thousands of people who adore them. They are 5 people who love what their doing, not a fabricated "boy band"in it for money. They deserve alot of credit for sticking to it thru all the law suits and controversy, and I would like to tell them that they can take their time putting out the new albumn, because I think I can speak for all the fans when I say "We are still gonna be here no matter how long you take" "We Love You"!
Free Music Review: FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!: far more than words could describe Hit: 5 Stars
I could probably sit here writing all this stuff about how they've influenced me, how their music has provided me w/ a better outlook on life, and stuff like that, but I need to calm down and tell you about their Christmas album. I particularly enjoy the fact that their album went beyond basic Christmas songs and introduced the world to a set of new Christmas songs for enjoyment. This album is wonderful because it has taught me the TRUE meaning about Christmas. Christmas isn't all about gifts and goodies, it mainly is about happiness, family togetherness, thinking of God, and being thankful for the things you have. THANKYOU *N SYNC!!! I love every single song on this album, but my absolute favorites are, "Love's In Our Hearts On Christmas," "O Holy Night,"(their a capella sounds beautiful)"Home For Chistmas," "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays," and "All I Want Is You This Christmas," THIS ALBUM DESERVES MORE THAN 5 I am automatically put in a good mood when I listen to it!!!! Hey parents, their lyrics are very decent, ("Under My Tree" is a little racy, but in all good spirits) These guys posess such sincerity in the songs that they sing, and they have a true love for what they are doing.
Free Music Review: Probably my favorite pop Christmas album Hit: 5 Stars
*NSYNC aren't the Beatles or Pink Floyd, but their music includes some beautiful vocal harmonies. This album really shows the true spirit of Christmas although it was probably only done for a few additional bucks, like all Christmas albums. A lot of people have said horrible stuff about teen pop, but when I decided to re-listen to all of this music I listened to as a child, instead of thinking, yikes I was an idiot to like this crap, I now actually have even more appreciation for it.
A lot of the songs are basically about a guy telling his girlfriend that all he cares about for Christmas is his girlfriend, but it's mainly pretty good. The a cappella version of "O Holy Night," is probably the most amazing version I've heard of that song, and I like the song "All I Want is You This Christmas." With that track, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick both sang lead, which isn't too common. There was also a really nice saxophone solo that might have had that elevator music feel, was also kind of nice to hear. The big hit was "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays," which had a nice piano accompaniment. The teen pop music scene has been laughed at, but I feel that a lot of it has been very well crafted and put together. It's also probably my favorite *NSYNC album.
