Free Music Review: really good
Hit: 5 Stars

i am so excited that we have a soundtrack. i love encarnacion and at the party. the songs are so funny. but i do wish they had bubble gum and the other songs that made me love it so much. nevertheless, it is very good!

Free Music Review: Nachooooo!
Hit: 5 Stars

Great soundtrack with some of your favorite scenes from the movie played out for you to hear. You can quote the movie along with Nacho in your car! Hilarious! If you're a fan of Nacho, you MUST own this CD!

Free Music Review: Amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

If you loved the movie, you MUST have this. Listening to his "Encarnacion" song while driving is one of my new favorite pleasures.

Free Music Review: Adds humor to the movie
Hit: 4 Stars

There aren't too many soundtracks from comedy films that are worth remembering. Nacho Libre is an exception. It's not only fun to listen to, it's also pretty funny and adds an element of humor to the film. Listen carefully - the lyrics to one of the songs is essentially says proud to be a religious man. I like that the soundtrack includes Jack Black's ode to Encarnacion.

Free Music Review: Few chips short of a full order of nachos...
Hit: 3 Stars

I love the movie NACHO LIBRE. I loved the music. And for the longest time, a soundtrack did not exist for this film. How sad. But finally, it is here. But... it's not quite complete and that's pretty darn disappointing.

First of all, all the songs you heard and loved from the film are not on this CD. Off the top of my head I can clearly remember one song that is missing and that is that "bubble gum for me" song where Nacho and Skeleton buy new outfits and eat corn. Where is it?! I loved that song!

Oh but that's not all. Composer Danny Elfman wrote some amazing score, though it never felt like "oh here's the score". It fit so well with the film and was great fun to listen to in the film... but it's not here. So where's all the music he wrote? We only have one and it's for Ramses! No love for Nacho?

In short, if you liked the music you heard in the film, you'll certainly like the songs here but just know that you're not getting everything, so be prepared for some disappointment. Especially since there's a track on the cd that isn't even in the film. That coulda been left off if you ask me. Especially since we're missing so much. Let's hope they give us another CD for everything that we're missing.

p.s. The dialogue tracks are seperate from the music so you can skip them if you want, but Danny Elfman's track for Ramses has some dialogue over it. That's a shame.
