Free Music Review: Long Live Prince Caspian
Hit: 5 Stars

Ever since I got the soundtrack for the first movie I've been waiting for the second one. It was worth the wait. I can't put this cd down. All of the themes that I loved in the first one were carried over to this one, only more detailed and freshed out. The new Prince Caspian theme is a well addition to the soundtrack and is reheard many times in the cd. I'm not a huge fan of the sung songs at the end, except for The Call. I great listen to anyone who loved the movie, which I did. As to those who say that this is just a rework of the first soundtrack, I say duh. Some themes have to be carried over and the best ones were. (I also want to point out that my favorite theme, Rechicheep's theme, is on the cd though condenced. Listen to The Door in the Air and you'll find it there. Listen for the soft horns.)

Free Music Review: Great soundtrack but why can't we get all of it?
Hit: 5 Stars

I love the soundtrack and the orchestration is fantastic. I also enjoy the Switchfoot and Regina Specktor songs, but there are two more by each of them at the end. I will have to wait to listen to the entire disk, but it never fails that some orchestration will be missing. When I buy a soundtrack it is usually for the orchestration, and the tunes are a great bonus. I wish there was a way to get all of it! The Switchfoot song is perfect for the whole theme of the movie about the many different ways people are going home throughout the movie, and how that takes on different meanings for the main characters. Very inpiring!

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

This soundtrack is beautiful. Its dark and intense, but with subtle hints of the light-hearted, inspiring melodies from the first soundtrack. Harry Gregson Williams outdoes himself once again. I loved hearing the familiar theme from The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe throughout some of the tracks. Arrival at Aslans How nearly brought me to tears.

This soundtrack is gorgeous and a great buy. I'd recommend it to any Narnia fan.

Free Music Review: Pleasantly Surprise
Hit: 5 Stars

I bought this soundtrack after seeing Prince Caspian over the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised hearing Regina Spektor's voice at the end of the film. Her song,The Call, is beautiful and fits perfectly with the themes of the film. The Call, in my opinion, is a much more memorable song than Alanis Moriseette's Wunderkind, from The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, and is well worth owning, especially if you are a Regina Spektor fan.

Free Music Review: Can't Complain
Hit: 5 Stars

As other customers have correctly pointed out, there are a lot of similar themes between this soundtrack, and LWW soundtrack, which makes sense. Even if it is rehash, there are enough new themes (such as Miraz Crowned and The Door In the Air), and slightly changed old ones that make it completely worth it to purchase this soundtrack. Just Regina Spektor's The Call, and Switchfoot's This Is Home, make the whole CD worth owning.
