Free Music Review: How can such a great rapper get so few props?
Hit: 5 Stars

Esco to me is the best solo rapper in the game. He only speaks on the real. I like Nas cause he's not like other rappers who talk about riches they got. I label that pretty boy rap.People might consider Jigga or DMX the best,I like both but Nas is the vet and most underrated. It's like stuff he was saying in his music would happen later to ya."A thug changes and love changes and best friends become strangers, word up" To my true rap folks, thats some real you know what. The true rap listeners know what time it is.Nas is the best.Maybe the only rappers who can touch him are B.I.G.(rest in peace), and Pac( rest in peace) who took it to another level.I'm not from N.Y. i just feel music no matter where it's from.To Nas, I feel ya.Everything. Keep it real. -K.Hunt

Free Music Review: Not Illmatic, but what is?
Hit: 5 Stars

Never again will Nas or any rapper that has been in the game ever drop anything better than Illmatic. BUT this album is near perfect. It shows all sides of the HUMAN Nas, not the famous rapper. Mutual Respect and friendship (Favor 4 a Favor with Scarface, Will Survive) Political (I want to talk to, Ghetto Prisoners) Romantic (Kissing, Undying Love, You won't see me tonight with Aalyiah) a comical lesson on how to be a playa (Dr. Knockboot) and everyday life situations and (Small World, NY State of Mind II, Hate Me Now, Life is What You Make it with DMX). Nas delivery of great stories makes this a five star album. It has 5 of the 10 greatest songs ever by Nas (Undying Love, Favor 4 a Favor, Life is what you make it, Nas is, and Kissing. So this is an album for anyone and I'm surprised it didn't sell at least 4 million.

Free Music Review: third straight classic!
Hit: 5 Stars

This was the first Nas album i ever bought. I will admit I didn't know what to expect I heard "Hate Me Now" and liked it so I went out and bought it. If I never bought this album to this day I would never know what real rap music is. The same day I bought this I listen to it 2 times straight through. This album has a little something for whatever type of rap fan you are. Some of the songs are fire and hard exe: "Hate Me Now", "Favor for a Favor". Some are laid back and have more of a story exe "NY state of mind 2", "Small World", "undying love" and some are deep exe: "we will survive", "I want to talk to you" and "ghetto Prisoners". All in all if you are new to Nas I think this is the first album you should get.

Free Music Review: simply amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

I can honestly say this is this best album out so far this year. I always liked Nas but this album just made him my 2nd favorite artist. True rap\hip-hop fans will realize that this album was very Tupac-inspired. I know the last person you would expect. After I heard money is my bitch I thought hmmmmm.... thats an awful lot like tupacs me&my girlfriend only nas is talking about money and pac was talking about guns. And then I heard We Will Survive and I knew. Nas gives Pac bigger ups then he does Biggie. He raps about Pac like hes a true fan and rhymes about the amazing things pac said ,even quotes him. Im not saying by any means that he bites style or lyrics off pac just that he truly respects him and has been touched by the greatest rapper that ever lived just like so many of us.

Free Music Review: Well writtten album full of thug poetry and tight beats.
Hit: 5 Stars

Nas came through on this album. The first single off the album carried a well mixed beat and well written rhymes. Other tracks held tru to a style not unlike that of the Late Tupac Shakur. The guests on the album added to it's overall appeal, with apperances from DMX, Alliah, and Scarface among others. The current single off the album (and the reason I bought it) "Hate Me Now" features Puffy and is really really mad. The song will not brighten your day. Neither will the album for that matter. But "Hate Me Now" is still blazin. Severly blazin. I love the song. I foresee this song being one of the major songs you will remember the summer of 99 by. On that note, it will probably be severly played out. As for now though, I think this should be one of your first picks.
