Pigeonhole came at a time when everyone in Britain was pretending to be from Manchester - when the bandwagon couldn't move for the weight of its passengers. But it was different. It was un-pigeonholeable. This wasn't baggy; this wasn't anything, in fact, that we'd heard the likes of before. I remember watching them live in Manchester and dancing myself into submission; I remember listening to them at home, and feeling like there was passion to be had; I remember driving with it on the stereo. And then they disappeared - get the album now, while you still can: I've not been able to find it anywhere in Britain.
