Even though myself and music choice has changed several times, I absolutely loved nkob in the early 90s. i was 9 or 10. i think if they were around now they would have more fans then backstreet boys or nsync (who both i cant stand)ever had. i saw a E! interview with nkob and it totally brought back my memories. from tees and huge buttons to posters and bed sets to belts and charm bracelets with all their beautiful faces on the hearts. i was singing along to the music as my fiance looks at me like im crazy. i had a blast. i just finished downloading all my favorite songs especially please dont go girl. little joey was adorable!!! if your a young adult beginning your teens you definatly have to get their music. you too will love nkob as much as the thousands did years ago. you really have to feel the same when you hear their music. thats exactly what it was talented kids having a blast making the best music ever!!!!Free Music Review: New Kids Were KINGS

Let's face it, The New Kids are the most successful boy band no matter what anyone says. I remembered the total mass hysteria. They were even on Oprah and the Backsteet Boys and Nsync have yet to appear on that show. But anyway, yeah I admit, I was emarassed to buy it too, but when I finally did purchase it, and popped it in the CD player, all those old mememories started pouring in. I felt like I was 10 and 11 again. And even though a long time has passed since I've heard any of their music, I still knew the lyrics. I'm pretty sure, everyone-even the ones who hate them know the words to the "Right Stuff". It was just so catchy and you gotta love the dance. Of course, "Please Don't Go Girl" will always be my fave. And I'm so glad it's here. "Didn't I Blow Your Mind" is a great song too. They KIDS made it their own. Can you believe it? Over 5 years ago the new kids called it quits but with a greatest hits album out and 2 of the old members climbing the charts with their solo albums, NKOTB fans have to be thrilled to see their idols once again. And about this album- it's a must have for any truly devoted NKOTB fan out there. It has 14 of their greatest including their three #1 hits- "Step By Step", "Hangin' Tough" and "I'll Be Loving You(Forever)." And of course who could forget that wonderful classic song that should have made it to #1- "You Got It(The Right Stuff)". And while you're checking out whats new from the new kids be sure to get their greatest hits video which includes 10 videos and 3 live performances. 1999 must be the year NKOTB have dreamed of since 1994-well this year's for the fans.Free Music Review: Excellent

This CD has all my favorite ballads by the New Kids such as "Please Don't Go Girl," "I'll Be Loving You Forever," "Let's Try It Again," "Baby I Believe In You," "If You Go Away," etc. The only ballad missing that I wish was on it is "Where Do I Go From Here."
There are great ballads on here as well as more upbeat Pop classics such as "Hangin' Tough," "The Right Stuff," "Step By Step," etc.
This is a great CD for original fans like me ("Blockheads"), new fans, and anyone who just wants to take a trip down memory lane back into Pop music of the 80's and 90's.
The New Kids were popular in the late 80's/early 90's when I was in highschool. They were the 'NSYNC and Backstreet Boys of that time.
Free Music Review: Greatest Band of the 80's?

THey have my vote. NKOTB has been my favorite band from 6th grade on. People have jumped back on the bandwagon recently with the return of teen bands such as the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync, but I never got off the bandwagon. New Kid's music is so heartfelt and pure, and the lyrics turned out to be really ahead of their time. Though the newest teens bands have had recent success, NKOTB's music I predict will prove to be timeless. The best thing about it is that you can listen to it on any occasion, depending on your mood. I would listen to step by step as a teen, and now working on Wall Street I slip in Hanging Tough when the market is not going my way. I recommend tis CD to any "true" music fan, as it deserves to in the collection of everyone and anyone.
