Free Music Review: New York Dolls? Oh, please.

Ok, so I really wasn't familiar with the New York Dolls when I ordered the live at Filmore East CD. But I had heard of them and assumed they had once earned a following for a reason.
But this CD did nothing to provide that reason. The New York Dolls sound like an enthusiastic garage band that should have stayed in the garage. I cannot imagine how they attained fame and following.
