Free Music Review: Best Album EVER

The reason i think this is the best album ever is simple. First it paved the way for punk as did MC5 and The Stooges. The second reason is the songs are amazing and Johnny Thunders is the best guitarist ever if you don't think so just check out his later work (LAMF, So Alone, Que Sera Sera, New Too Much Junkie Business). If you think The Ramones invented punk rock you are dead wrong it all started with MC5 and The Stooges and got really good at this point.Free Music Review: What more can really be said?

I'm a big fan of Bowie, Iggy, T. Rex and other bands of that glam/early punk era. This album provides a perfect mix of those genres. It's really hard to listen to this album and not hear how their influence spread to a lot of bands that would proceed them.
There really isn't anything I can say about this album that hasn't been said already. If you like the bands that I mentioned above, this is a must have addition to your collection.

It doesn't get much better than this. For a band that only released two studio albums, they sure packed a punch. This record is nearly perfect from start to finish. Some songs are a tad bit better than others, but it is a must buy. I really think there needs to be more bands like the Dolls out now, but alas, there aren't that many. But play this record loudly, for it sounds much better than any of today's top artists.Free Music Review: thanks, new york dolls.

i had just lost my little boy, my husband of 19 years had recently left me for a woman 22 years my junior, and i had a horrible rash all up and down my left side. i was DEPRESSED! i wasn't the old me anymore. kicked by life one too many times, if you know what i mean. then i heard this album. and suddenly i wanted to wear lipstick again. i wanted to put on lipstick and go out dancing. i was back! thanks, new york dolls.Free Music Review: There is something a little bit more than wonderful here.

Before this cd,I had never heard any song from the New York Dolls.I heard that they were bad,heard that they were good.Well being at the store one night,not finding any other cd I wanted,I got the New York Dolls.
From the moment I put this cd in,I did not regret it.It was wonderful,slow paced punk rock at it's best.Buy this cd,especially if you are into early punk (i.e.,Iggy Pop and the Stooges)
