Free Music Review: If you love Rock n' Roll music - buy this!
Hit: 5 Stars

There's no point in repeating what others here have said. Had it not been for a chance perusal of the review in Rolling Stone, I never would have known about this CD. It is a great, joyful rock album - I never even listened to the Dolls in years gone by - but this one nails the spirit of the genre. I've worked backstage at Stones, AC/DC and Dead shows, and I modestly suggest that I know the real thing when I hear it. Tear the shrink wrap off, baby, and crank this one up on the way home with the windows down, while the weather is still warm enough to do so! If you're a guitarist, pay attention to what Syl is playing, and watch the video - he's really learned to do it right!

Free Music Review: Welcome Back!!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I loved the Dolls first 2 albums. Those albums were a rarity in that every song on them was great. No wasted vinyl. Suffice to say, I have waited 30 some years for this new album. I bought it with great expectations and wasn't disapointed. The new album is great. I love all of the songs. David and Syl haven't lost their edge and as a matter of fact have improved with the years. I only wish the Killer could be around to enjoy their success. The new guys to the band are awesome and fit right in. My other fav band, The Stones hasn't done anything like this since Exile back in '72. Thanks Guys and please keep the new recordings coming. You truly are the greatest band ever.

Free Music Review: Thirty plus years for the third New York Dolls album, worth the wait!
Hit: 5 Stars

The Dolls surviving members David Johansen (vocals) and rhythm guitarist (Sylvain Sylvain) have recorded a third album. The new songs and band members are totally awesome. It's a very bluesy and hard rocking album. All of the songs are great. The final song "Take a Good look at my Good looks" is a fitting bookend. The bonus track featuring Bo Diddley completes the circle that was started with "Pills". I highly recommend this album, Johansen's voice sounds a bit mature and rougher, but it's fitting for an album recorded by two survivors of one of the best and underrated bands to ever record.

Free Music Review: Not missing a Beat
Hit: 5 Stars

Brilliant, David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain come back to the studio along with Jack Douglas and lay down 14 new tracks that are both new, exciting and defiantly classic Dolls. The tracks selected for this release are full of high energy rock, warm ballots and open hearts. This release showcases the best of what the Dolls were and looks to the future with original members going full circle in their rock lives sporting all the cuts and bruises collected along the way. Worth while for any Rock lover an absolute must have.
