Free Music Notes for In the Hands of GodFree Music Review: Another great album Hit: 5 Stars
Do the Newsboys ever make a bad album? - NEVER! I've never bought an album of theirs and wish I hadn't. This one is no exception. As always, they are trendsetters, current with today's music style, edgy for the next generation, yet never unwavering in their faith so obvious in every song. I often find myself dancing and jamming to the songs and suddenly the words hit my heart so unexpectedly and overwhelmingly... I am always challenged in my faith and how my life reflects the heart of God. I don't know if it will be the same with Tait. Newsboys will likely never be the same.
Free Music Review: Outstanding Album Hit: 5 Stars
Absolutely love this album by the Newsboys. Peter is incredible and the arrangements are awe inspiring especially 'In the hands of God' - thanks Jeff for another outstanding set of lyrics. There is not a single song on this album that is not highly listenable many times over.
I miss Peter's voice on the newer albums, Tate is okay but he's not an Aussie and IMHO the Aussie flair is missing in Newsboys albums since Peter left the band. Pity!
Never-the-less, get out there and buy this album, you won't be disappointed.
Free Music Review: Great Stuff Hit: 5 Stars
As is typical with the Newsboys, this is a top notch album. It features a great sound, energy, and a solid Christian message.
The songs range from lighthearted fun to serious praise and worship. There are lighter pop and more intense rock offerings. There are really no weak songs on this CD. My favorite is 'In the Hands of God', but there are many other standouts.
This is almost a must buy for any fan of the group. I suspect that most others will enjoy it as well.
Free Music Review: The newsboys CD In the Hamds of God Hit: 5 Stars
For Newsboys fan/s or anyone who is looking for a good Christian rock\pop CD this is a good one to start with. This one of the Newsboys best Non-worship albums in my opinion. The Lyrics to all the songs have a Christian Meaning behind them. this is also probably the last Newsboys album to feature their former lead singer Peter Furler. Even if you are not huge on Christian Music you will probably still love this album its that great.
Free Music Review: The Boys Are Back...Sounding Better Than Ever Hit: 5 Stars
Peter Furler's last CD (for now) as lead vocalist of the Newsboys and he leaves his millions of fans smiling.
This is a terrific CD. "In The Hands Of God" is one of those anthem songs that you can't get out of your head. I found myself humming the chorus all day today. Other songs that really registered for me are, "RSL1984", "My friend Jesus", and "No Grave".
Buy this CD.
