Free Music Review: I was there for both shows!

I was at the Woodland Pavillion for the first taping of this tour, third row stage right. It was an awesome show. When they returned this year to re-tape at the Berry Center, I was there again eighth row. Both shows were outstanding, and would be hard to enjoy the actual energy that was there via DVD/CD. Some people are already writting negative comments, but take it for what is worth. The 'boys put on an energetic show and were extremely loud. I have yet to get my copy, I am just writting as someone who was there and am eagerly awaitng my copy to arrive!
As for Phil being missed, yes he was. His high pitch vocals and bass were definantly missed. But the Newsboy's stilled pulled it off without a hitch. Not many bands could get away without doing a tour minus a key member.

I had the good fortune to see the Newsboys during the 'Go' tour. Experiencing this DVD is a fun way to relive that.
Although the audio CD is good, there is not too much in it that is very different from previous releases. I do think that the versions of 'Blessed Be Your Name' and 'I Am Free' are better on this than the originals.
There is a lot of energy in this live performance that is a real treat. One part that is incredibly fun on the DVD is the drum solo. Seeing that live is amazing. Watching it on the DVD is pretty awesome as well.
This is a good pickup for any fan of the Newsboys. Anyone who is not a fan yet probably will be after this.

This was a great CD. I had wanted to go to the concert but this was almost as good. The quality was nice enough that I could blast it and when watching the video of the concert it was awesome. There is a nice mix of their classic songs, such as Shine and the Breakfast song while still incorporating songs from the GO album for which they were touring (and which I happen to adore). Overall, a great purchase and bargain of getting the CD as well as the DVD. I highly recommend it!!Free Music Review: Newsboys Go tour CD & DVD

We bought this CD to relieve the concert we attended earlier last year. When we went to put in Disk 2 we realized it was a DVD. What a huge BONUS and have watched the DVD to relive our concert experience. It is exactly how we remember the concert except the Texas comments inserted instead of our home state. The DVD is a great way to share the NEWSBOYS music with friends & family who might not be familiar with them.Free Music Review: It makes a great gift

My wife and I have used these for Christmas gifts this year. We are ordering more to give away. I think it shows the freedom that comes from knowing the grace of God in your life and the fun that comes with being the person you are free to be. With their variety of songs there is a song and a message in there for anyone. God bless the News Boys and all their staff for their time given to us for our enjoyment
