This CD is compelling in the realm of Christian rock. Peter Furler has outdone himself in lyrics and music. His partnership with Steve Taylor continues to bear fruit, and success.I saw the Newsboys on their "Thrive" tour, and lest you think they can't do this live - they were amazing! Their message is authentic, and honest.
"It Is You" is my favorite track from the album. It will keep you singing for hours. It is one of those songs that does not leave you.

For those fans who felt as though Love Liberty Disco was not the Newsboys at their best (myself not included), welcome back to the music you know and have come to expect from the 'boys. Once again they have proved themselves to be one of the most modern and influential bands on the cutting edge of music and worship! There's something for everyone on this album.Simply put, the Newsboys will continue to be leaders and not followers in modern rock and worship for years to come!

Besides "Shine the Hits" this has got to be their greatest album to date. They somehow always keep their sound fresh, and always have an outstanding message. The best thing about the boys is their true commitment to Christ. If this band were secular they would be superstars, but thank God(literally) they are dedicated to him! You won't be disappointed if you buy this! By the way "Cornelius" rocks, if you buy this CD for anything buy it for this one song alone!Free Music Review: Best Yet!

Every Christian rock fan should own this cd! This is the Newsboys at their best,creative catchy tunes and heartfelt praise for God. "It Is You" is astounding in its simplicity and arguably created the whole "worship song fad" that dominates the Christian music scene today. "Cornelius" is a new classic and the interesting "John Woo" has a great vibe throughout. When asked if I can recommend any good Christian cds, this is always the first I mention. This cd rocks!! Newsboys lead me to a different place with every album. Their lyrics challenge me to look deeper at myself and my relationship with God with every album. If you so want to rock, get this cd, do it, don't even think about not buying it. I think John Woo rocks too--some of the other reviews don't go for it, but it totally rocks (and might possibly be the best song on the album-as far as really making a departure goes). God Bless the Newsboys!
