This is definately THE best newsboys album! The songs are great, the lyrics are supurb, and the energy put into the songs is simply electric! All of the songs deserve to be the title song of the album. My favorites are "Thrive" and "It is you". When I first heard this album the song that really amazed me was "It is you", I was in tears hearing it. This is definately a different style for the newsboys and I hope it stays!Free Music Review: Well, they made up for that Love, Liberty, Disco album!!

I used to be crazy over these guys, but I started to lose interest when Step Up to the Microphone came out, then Love, Liberty, Disco really bummed me out, so I was hoping they would start getting better again, and good news, they did! They completely changed their style around and I like em' all over again! My favorite songs are "Live in Stereo," "Thrive" and "Fad of the Land." Well, there ya' have it!<Vapor>

Whenever I buy a new Newsboys cd my philosphy is always the same. I have to listen to it 9 million times so it can grow on my and I start to like it. BUT NOT THIS TIME!! The first track "Giving it Over" absolutely rocks the world and sounds like no other NB song out there. This album is awesome! Much heavier, and it rocks! So even if you dont generally like the newsboys of the past, you will dig this new cd hardcore!! I WANT TO BE CORNELIOUS!!!!Free Music Review: NEWSBOYS have returned to the Going Public/TMTYL Sound

"Take Me to Your Leader", "Going Public", and "Not Ashamed" were the sounds that defined the Newsboys and all these were produced by Steve Taylor. "Step up to Microphone" and "Love Liberty Disco" were a departure, but it was still Newsboys. "Thrive" is produced by Steve Taylor and returns back to the sound we used to know only it has a new millenium sound. All the songs are great.Free Music Review: Buy This Album!!!

If you want to rock, get this album! I loved all the songs (but what's with the short CD length, I could have gone for another 45 minutes, Newsboys!), especially "Giving It Over", "It Is You", "Cornelius" and "The Fad of the Land". This is the first CD I've bought in a while that didn't disappoint me and I buy a pretty good number each year. Whether you're already a Newsboys fan or you don't know them at all, this CD is excellent!
