Free Music Review: Great Start
Hit: 5 Stars

Nick is amazing in his first attempt at a solo record. As a BSB fan I was worried what it would be like for one of them to branch off on their own, what would it mean for the boys...how would they solo artist be recieved... all my worries were put to rest when listening to Nicks new album.

He shows his amazing talent and range in so many ways, vocally, emotionally, with the content, tempos and attitude.

Each song is totally different, he experiments with so many different type of moods. In the mood for something fun and crazy try the fast pace "Girls in the USA" or get the same feel with "Is it Saturday Yet?" Then slow it down and see Nick amazing vocal range with "Heart without a Home" or "Who needs the World" Then the inspirational message with "Help Me" Looking for something more sensual there is "Miss America." Then "I Stand For You" gives you a bad boy rebel feel. There is just something for everyone on this album. It can be enjoyed with whatever mood you are in, no matter how old or young you are, no matter if you are a BSB fan or not.

He really impressed me...the CD is raw and real. It really reflects the emotions and feelings of a 22 year old guy trying to find his place in the world. And Nick has found his place, as a great solo artist with an amazing solo career ahead of him. The sky is the limit Nick.

Hit: 5 Stars

From Boyband Ballads to catchy, rockin' guitars.....what next? Nick has undoubtedly got it. On this album he's left behind the swooning ballads and typical U.S.A pop for guitars, guitars and more guitars, not only has he brought a whole new meaning to 'Nick Carter', but a whole new flavour of Rock/Pop that'll keep you wanting more. Okay so there is a slight hint of Backstreet-ism in those classic guitar based Ballads such as "Do I have To Cry For You" and the ever popular "Heart Without A Home", if your not a ballad fan there are quite a few Thrashing rock tunes that'll keep the 'rents comlaining and with the likes of "Mr.Vegas" to support his newly alternative vocals on "Girls In The USA" you'll be pleasantly santisfied with this purchase. You don't have to be a "Backstreet Boys" fan becuase you'll still love this new style of his and it's that extra bit special as Nick turned up the talent knob and wrote some of the material himself.

Setting all this aside Nick is only 22 years of age and has world wide boy stardum with the 'streets and is rockin' our socks off with this new debut release, so why not support the cause and buy this great Album, it's well worth the price and you get a free DVD taboot which includes great pics, interviews, and never before seen footage of Nick in the studio and infront the camara.

Go Buy It....NOW NOT NEVER!!!!

Free Music Review: Nick Carter-BSB turned Rocker
Hit: 5 Stars

While I've always enjoyed listening to Nick Carter croon sweet love songs with the rest of the Backstreet Boys, I never realized just how mean a set of pipes Nick really had. It is beyond a doubt safe to say that after listening to Nick's solo debut "Now Or Never" non-stop since early Tuesday morning, I am convinced that this young man has the best voice in today's entire Pop/Rock industry! Listening to "I Stand For You","Do I Have Cry For You","Blow Your Mind",and many of the other songs on this CD, has been a truly enjoyable experience for me,one that has enabled me to relive my teenage years back in the 80's. To me Nick is the Brian Adams of the zero zero's. I have to say that Nick has surpassed his past efforts with BSB(as a vocalist and a writer). It was bound to happen eventually. Being in a Pop vocal group like that with four other guys involves putting aside alot of personal creativity for the good of the whole group. I think that Nick as well as the other guys in the group are able to offer so much more of themselves individually than they ever could together. This albums proves that again and again. While I will always love my treasured BSB albums, I am thrilled to listen to Nick's brand of Rockin' again and again. I guess you can say Nick's coming of age has been my return to my fleeting youth. Funny how that is. Thanx,Nick! You ROCK!

Free Music Review: Now or Never Rocks (in every way)
Hit: 5 Stars

Who said that Nick's all pop? Probably those who also said that pop and rock don't go together. Well, with a more edgier sound, Carter proved them wrong with his solo debut album "Now or Never". He was able to find the perfect harmony between those two types of music. We can find in his album songs that show his rock influences, like in "Girls Of The USA", but we still have those soft, romantic ones, like "I Got You" and "Who Needs The World". The album shows the growth that Carter had with almost a decade together with the "Boys", where he experienced new sounds and styles, (Miss America), and his writing skills, that turned out to be fantastic. Nick discovered that he can sing in ways that he never did before, and that turned out to be a huge benefit for him. He lets go all that he has been holding inside with "I Stand For You" and shows another side of him with "Scandalicious", both written by him. He was more involved with this album than ever before, and now we can say, with no doubt, that Nick Carter has become a complete artist. He plays the guitar and drums, writes amazing and inspiring songs, and can sing any type of song..... what else can a artist do? Name it and Nick will do it, and he will do it well. So now, rock, and pop fans, have the opportunity to have an album that is changing the way that critics look at "BoyBands" singers.
