The perfect CD to get your girl into heavier music. Strong hooks, nice melody, and above all....consistant. With Nickelback you always know what you are getting, and I appreciate the consistancy. The new Fozzy CD/DVD All That Remains Reloaded is just as consistant, and has Chris Jericho from the WWE as the singer!!! The Nickelback album All the Right Reasons is my favorite album that they have done. In my opinion it is much better than the Figured you out album. I think they blended the faster and more up to beat songs like Rockstar, Animals, and next contestant really well with the slower songs like far away, if everyone cared, and Savin me. I love the way that the music does not over power the vocals, and how the back-up vocals blend really well with the lead vocals. if you like this album you will also like 3 Doors Down, Away from the Sun album. What is not to like about this album? First and foremost, half of the songs on the album are smash hits. Needless to say that aside from the most successful hit Rockstar, the other singles released got rather reasonable airplay-just to mention, Rockstar was the only non-hip/hop song to grace the top ten list of most downloaded songs of the year for 2007.
This album is, by no means of regret, versatile, but yet satisfying in so many aspect. For one, the radio-friendly Rockstar which was a colossal hit. Saving Me was by no means a disappointment, with a video that would make even Sophocles question and second guess the future. If everyone cared is simply emotinally profound-this song should be the anthem of world peace; I would have purchased the album solely for this cut. In short, these HITS all have one thing in common: they are meaning and infectious. Consequently, the album is doesn't have a trace of a filler. Purchase this album and LISTEN to the words and you will find your moved at once without taking a step. These are all the right reasons to pick a copy, maybe even two copies of this album.
Nickleback has been around for a long and they don't seem to lack any luster. Albums such as this one will secure their longevity on the charts and in the hearts of fans.
