hello
when the 1st cd by NB came out the 1st thing that crossed my mind was. they are on road runner and they are not heavy metal is it any good. why did these thought came to me it was just cause yrs ago american recording had a rap artist that failed worse then anything that i ever read about in my rock n roll loving life.
back to this cd
its the best cd by nickelback its better then the 3 albums before and its better then the 4 albums if you count their indie cd
this is truly a hard rockin cd by my fav canadian band im more into the german metal and the american metal so to have a killer cd from canada this is the best buy

Now this is what I'm talkin about! Hard, grungy rock w/out an unnecessarily-crazy drummer who just goes nuts 24/7.
This album gets me goin. Enough said. Also, I like the couple slower songs that bring you back down to reality so you don't try to go and conquer the world in a day. And I just don't understand why so "professional" critics, who supposedly "know" what I like, have a vendetta against Nickelback. I like them, I don't know.. Cheers

Anyone can say whatever they want about Nickelback...right? They are simply the best kick a** rock band anywhere. They don't try to be anything they're not. They just rock. Yeah..there's not many violins, orchestas, etc...They are a rock band, and a damn good one at that. Quit looking for supposed new techniques and just enjoy what they are the "best" at. The lyrics are written just for most of you complain about. Although this is a "pro nick" review...I chuckle everytime I listen to Kroeger chuckle all the way to the Canadian bank. As far as that goes "Theory" is a close second. Keep kickin' it!! We all wanna be a Rockstar. Now that song really sucks, eh?Free Music Review: Great CD by a Great Band

Highly recommended CD. There is a little change in style from previous records; perhaps "poppier".

Gotta be Somebody (5/5) You all know this one by now !!
Something in Your Mouth (4/5) Hard Rocking song; great riffs
Just to get High (5/5): Another outstanding song !! Excellent guitar solo.
Never Gonna Be Alone: (5/5) Great Ballad; reminds be of Def Leppard.
Today Was Your Last Day (4/5) Yet another great song.
SEX, Burn It to the Ground are also good (not great) songs.
Definitely a must buy !!

first I must say that I think Nickelback is the greatest band of all time! I love all of the albums from Curb to this one. Dark Horse is a great album (though it is raunchy)! The songs are all catchy and upbeat and flat out awesome! There are some real head-bangers like Burn It To The Ground and Next Go Round and a couple nice ballads like I'd Come For You and Never Gonna Be Alone. My personal favorite is Just To Get High. Why? Well, it's inspirational, chorus is catchy as hell, its not too soft, not too heavy and is has an AMAZING guitar solo! Do yourself a favor and buy Dark Horse today, you won't be dissaponited!
