I am not the biggest Nickel Fan, have all their albums but to be honest do not hear the entire album, but, when I got Dark Horse I let it play during the whole Internet surfing session and let me say that i Liked all of the song on this one. Most are so powerful and deep, that it really made me repeat it for at least 4 time last night. Best songs are : Something in your mouth, Gotta be somebody, I'd Come For you, I today was... Burn it to... and the best of all as a ballad, IMHO, For me, and deep slow songs fans, Never gonna be alone.Free Music Review: They just grow on you

When I initially bought the CD I jammed to the first two tracks and didn't give the rest of the album much of chance and stopped listening to it till I saw them in concert in March. They are kick-ass and their music simply grows on you. Seriously, I didn't give it much of a chance so when it came out I would have given it a 3/4 stars but now I simply can't get enough. I went and saw them again in August. Great music. Buy it and give it a chance. Look what most of the reviews are...five stars. I really like this album and waited a long time for them to come out with another one. This is well worth the wait. I love the mix of hard and classic rock. The songs are good to listen to. My favorite is "I'd come for you." Another song I've enjoyed was "Just get High". It was meaningful and brought a good message about drug addiction. That's why I like nickelback a lot. The songs mean something and can relate to people's problems and hardships and what's going on out there. I would highly recommend this CD.Free Music Review: Great CD

I was highly anticipating this album. I LOVED All The Right Reasons and Dark Horse is good, just not quite as good as All The Right Reasons. And that doesn't mean I don't want you to go buy Dark Horse, because I do! This is definitely a ROCK album for anyone wondering... lots of sex and drugs in the lyrics. Which is why I prefer All The Right Reasons to Dark Horse. But anyways, it is NOT overproduced as many have speculated. If you liked Silver Side Up, this is the album you've been waiting for.Free Music Review: The best one yet

The Dark Horse CD is an excellent CD and if you like energetic hard rocking tunes, this is the one for you. Having it produced by Mutt Lange was the best decision they could have made as the sound quality and song arrangements are exceptional and the whole CD just plain ROCKS. This CD definitely has some more straight up rock songs, which I prefer, and I believe this is Nickelback's best effort to date. This has become my favorite CD and I can't go a whole day without listening to it. Exccellent.
