Free Music Review: Trent Continues Right Where He Left Off

I first heard Starf*ckers INC. on Net Radio, even though it was a real audio version, it still rocked. I went and bought the single the next day. The way he morphed each word together in S.F. INC. is amazing, and it works with the distorted almost D n B drum loops. They pay off is at the end of the song, when the message is revealed, with the KISS Sample. Classic Trent.Trent has been an inspiration in my own work for ever, he proves to everyone that hes not "popular" material and that theres more to him than "Closer" and "Head Like a Hole". He is always original and continues to break the industrial rock/techno boundries, no one comes close... maybe KMFDM and Front Line Assembly.
Cant wait for the new release.

If this short taste of Trent Reznor is all we have to go on till the mid-September release of "The Fragile", I won't be able to wait. This is true Reznor material. Slow beats, fast beats, all mixed together with the artistry of the greatest musician of his genre. He did not appear to sell out his true musical roots on these three songs. Unlike Marylin Manson's "Mechanical Animals" (which is nothing like Mr. Mansons previous albums), you could actually take these three new songs and put them on NIN's '94 release "Downward Spiral", yet still they seem fresh and manical as ever. September will be a good month for all NIN fans as well as for anyone who trully loves the art of cutting edge music.Free Music Review: some people just don't get it

some people here seem to have a limited view of music. they obviously don't understand that there are different genres of music - and if they don't like a genre - they don't have to listen to it - but instead they write reviews like "waa this is awful - jazz is much better" or "i like bob dylan much better" or "i hate those depressing lyrics" (well then go ahead and listen to jazz, bob dylan or some chart love songs)in fact i love this single and i am very much relieved that trent did NOT change his style to some comercial r'n b or jazz or whatever - it just shows that he is still capable of doing some real nine inch nails

Oooooooohhhhh trent.....thank you. Before Downward Spiral came along, the only work capable of gloriously, mercilessly wrenching my soul until I sank to the floor, sobbing and exhausted, was Mozart's Requiem. But he didn't have quite the knack for distortion that you do.....{smirk}. From "I would find a way...." to "the sweetest price you'll have to pay..." I have to thank you--I get it, I live it, I'm trying. I really don't know what they're saying about the theme of The Fragile, but if I understand you the way I think I do, we ain't goin' to Kansas, Toto. Caiman is absolutely unprofessional!!!!. I orderded a disc on jan 24, they sent me a confirmation, then within minutes sent me a shipping confirmation to follow. So I waited til wed. the 28 NO SINGLE STILL!!! so on the same day I sent them an e-mail to see what was up,then today thursday they sent me an e-mail that says we just barely sent it out today!!! I was livid! BE advised CAIMAN IS A HUSTLE. If you order something it will take forever,(Never By The Date they tell you) or with them you may never recieve it at all!! PLEASE DON'T LET THESE SELFISH PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!! They are cowards that only want your money!!!!!!!!!
