"The Day the World Went Away" is an incredible new piece of NIN music. However, I would have to say that this disc requires the listener to really pay attention to the music, at least to earn the appreciation that it demands. TDTWWA is strange and is something we haven't seen from Trent yet, but let's not be ignorant and confuse that with a poor piece of music. This disc, or at least the songs on it, are certainly worthy of bearing the name "Nine Inch Nails".Free Music Review: Well worth the 5 year wait

To any who knock this recording, go to hell.Any NIN fan has been waiting for this day since early 1994.And now that day has arrived."World" is a disturbing song,yet peaceful.I sat and really listened to it,and it kinda calmed me down and relaxed me."Starfuc*ers,INC." is something that came straight from Broken.It's angry and totally aggressive.These songs are just the beginning.To all who don't like them,stay tuned.Your about to get musically blown away.Free Music Review: very, very nice

This a great cd. TDTWWWA is very , very good song. It kind harkens back to the days of TDS, but yet its slightly different. Starf***** is great songs for being a B-side song. It kinda reminds me of eraly 90's ministry. Great lyrics too. The quiet version of tdtwwwa is, i think, superior to the original. Great piano work and ambeitn sound scaping. I would like to add one more thing, how in hell does Starf*****sound like anything like a Prodigy song, as one reviewer put it.Free Music Review: halo 13

theres only 3 songs on this cd, but theyre all good, the day the world went away (mellow song) and starf*ckers inc. (very fast-paced) are both found on the fragile, so the only song that is original to this cd is the quiet version of TDTWWA (also really mellow, but i like it better than the original).....if you have the fragile, you dont really need this cd, unless you really really want the quiet remix or just really really need all NIN releases for your collectionFree Music Review: Halo 13........a NIN Single worth buying!

Don't pay attention to the reviewer that says this single isn't worthy! It may be worthy to some people. My opinion, it was a great intro to Fragile! To give a fair review though, some of you may not like it as much as me, as it only includes 3 songs. Really 2 songs, with Day the World Went Away (Quiet mix) included. Buy it ONLY if you like these songs OR if you want to add it to your Halo Collection. I love these songs, so I think this Single is excellent.
