Free Music Notes for The Day The World Went AwayFree Music Review: POWERFUL Hit: 5 Stars
TDTWWA single has a lot of emotion in it. The song "TDTWWA" is more in the "Hurt" vein, where "Starf**kers Inc." would fit in well with the BROKEN CD. This single seems to be using more electric guitar than usual NIN. I heard that "Starf**kers Inc." was written about Marilyn Manson. This single is awesome. You have probably been waiting years for this to come out, it was worth the wait. Get it now!
Free Music Review: GOOD CD, NICE NEW STUFF FROM NIN. Hit: 5 Stars
The Day the whole world went away single, is definatley worth the cheap price it is at!!TDTWWWA- The song is a slower, depressing type that only NIN can do, there isnt much lyrically in this song but I still like it alot! STARFU**ERS, INC- Another great song! This one is much different from the previous one, its more fast paced and uses guitars really well. The cd shows a nice blend of what NIN has done and will keep doing!
Free Music Review: Halo 13, a great sign of things to come. Hit: 5 Stars
I must say, this is a another great piece of work from Trent, his first release since Perfect Drug, it doesn't dissapoint. Both versions of the single on the CD are great, and the B-Side really hits hard, with driving vocals and killer music. Also, the Porter Ricks remix B-side on the Vinyl is great, I reccommend you pick up the Vinyl as well. All around this a solid release, and at such a low price, who could resist.--Rift
Free Music Review: Rezner is the king of industrial Hit: 5 Stars
Trent Rezner has an uncanny ability to tap into the anger and pain that so many of us feel in our everyday lives. His lyrics are strong, sincere, and disturbing. Five long years have passed since The Downward Spiral and the sense that Rezner has been perfecting his art is clear in the new singles. This man has stayed true to form. He should be commended for never selling out. NIN fans be ready for the answer to your dreams.
Free Music Review: excellent new music from nin!!! Hit: 5 Stars
This single is amazing. TDTWWA is a great song. Subtle at first, then it builds to a climax of loud guitars. The B side, Starfuckers Inc., has the trademark angst of NIN, but has a very original vocal sound, very processed and even robotic. The quiet version of the original song is breathtaking. A building acapella vocal eventually ends in Trent singing with solo piano. Its quite beautiful. No NIN fan can miss this!!!!!
