Free Music Review: One of the best compilations out there.

There are very few compilation CD's that are actually good. This is one of them. Nirvana's Incesticide is packed with 15 songs guaranteed to rock you no matter what. "Dive", "Sliver", "Son of a gun", "Hairspray Queen", "Aero Zeppelin", and "Aneurysm" are my favorite songs on here. This is essential for any Nirvana fan's collection.My only complaints are: why is "Downer" on here? You can already find that on the Bleach album. Also, I didn't like "Big Long Now" because it seemed to drag a little, but those are just minor complaints .
NOTE: Pick up Kurt Cobain's Journals to find the lyrics to some of these songs.

Incesticide gets a little Main Stream, yes, but it shows Nirvana's return to purely underground. The (New Wave) Polly is absolutely incredible. Sliver is one of a kind. Downer is my favorite Nirvana song. Hairspray Queen has a funky bass line, and is really incredible.
This is the next must-get after Bleach.

For a compilation album, Incesticide still gives the feel of a proper LP. Each song is experienced in its roughest form, giving it a certain appeal of its own. The album's first three tracks are by far the best - starting wityh the classic 'Dive', a mixture of pounding bass riff and heavy guitar harmony. This is probably my favourite track from the album. The most complex song has to be 'Big Long Now'. It is incredible - Kurt's weary vocals are supported by the crude guitar line, whilst the bass line mainly keeps the song together. It is a superior track from the band, taking a closer look into the more indie aspect of their music. A great album, well worth the buy!Free Music Review: Buy this cd....now.....

Incesticide is a great c.d. Trust me, if you like Nirvana...even slightly, you will love this cd. It combines lots of outtakes and demos and some songs that never made it to the other c.d.s.(Such as Bleach and Nevermind) While not as polished as some of the other Nirvana music, Incesticide's tracks are eerie, dark, and peculiar...three factors that make for great Nirvana.(Listen to Beeswax)I must say one thing, as well...if you are the kind of person who is willing to try new things, and has never heard Nirvana, do yourself a favor and purchase this cd. You won't regret it. This is a great c.d. for any people new to Nirvana. "Long Live Cobain."
Free Music Review: An Enjoyable Listen, Even For The Casual Fan

So, you're a big fan of Nirvana? You've got Nevermind, In Utero, and managed to track down Bleach, but you still feel like something's missing. Of course there is. You'll need this odds-and-sods disc. Originally slapped together by DGC for the Christmas 1992 market, this is particularly useful for a Nirvana fan, because it contains the two B-sides to "Blew," both sides of the "Sliver"/"Dive" single, BBC sessions, and experimental metal tunes from the "Bleach" era. All in all, you should buy this disc, even if a couple of the songs are not quite up to Cobain's usually high standards. Jump in, realizing this is a B-sides disc, and you won't be disappointed.
